An absolutely wonderful place to eat. The best part is that their gluten free option is Udi's bread. You can get any sandwich as a gluten free option. They are respectful of gluten intolerance and mindful of the need to keep things clean. Very pleased!

My first experience with Jersey Mikes was about 10 years ago. So, I was thrilled when JM started to expand to the Hoosier State.
This is my very favorite location. I have had the best experiences here, and had the most consistent service and food at this location. All, or at least most, Jersey Mikes locations are great. But, the Bloomington store is even more superior.
Food is always fresh, delicious, generous, and exceptional quality.

The dining area was more dirty than any Jersey Mike's I've ever been to. Tables were dirty. Floor had food squished on it. The Trash cans were overflowing. 3 on duty. Slower traffic, no effort to do anything to clean up. The sandwiches were very good. The guys working were very nice and friendly.
After having the same experience on two occasions, I will not go to the Bloomington location due to unfriendly service. The first employee at the order here counter does not stop slicing meat, while all other 3 employees avoided any eye contact and looked miserable / hung over. We stood in first in line for 3 minutes waiting on anyone to ask us to start our order. We knew what we wanted, but no one seemed to care to take our order and we were confused on who even was supposed to start the order since the meat slicer at the front of the line would not stop doing that. It was just a confusing experience with the staff being unhelpful. The sub definitely isn’t worth the service or price.

The portabella cheese steak #66 is very good. The mushrooms have a meaty texture that make them a great addition. I swapped out the sweet peppers for grilled banana peppers. The white American cheese is tastier than provolone in my opinion, and the roll is more authentic than french bread.

What else can I say about these folks other than how perfectly dialed in everything about the store is. The service is immaculate and the staff is beyond friendly. Most importantly, I believe it's the best sub within MILESSSS. I wish more chain establishments followed their path. Highly recommend to anyone.-a jersey native
