My partner and I wanted to go to Marco and Polo restaurant yesterday but Google map didn’t show they were booked. Since we did the long drive to Bloomington, we decided to go to a Korean Restaurant nearby. The name is Korea Restaurant and food is authentic and price is quite right for current economy and if you order fried dumpling 6 piece, you get to have all these other cool things with it. We ordered chicken teriyaki and beef bulgogi. The server is a Korean guy and he is extremely down to earth, approachable, and nice. I am glad we ended up with such an elevated experience despite the unfortunate incident.
It was my first time in an authentic Korean restaurant and I had watched lots of Korean TV series in my early twenties and I love how people make kimchi in their house. This kimchi was super delicious compared to what I used to buy at international markets.
Besides the kimchi, the most delicious pieces were cucumber in the vinegar sauce and then the fried vegetables dumplings.
Highly suggest their outdoor sitting.

I don't post many reviews but felt inclined to give this wonderful establishment the public credit it deserves!
It starts with a great patio and general ambiance. The servers, especially Bikram, are so kind and welcoming. The food is off the charts, just bursting with flavor. So many unique dishes, and you get 5-7 little appetizer bowls FOR FREE with your meal.
This is a must-try on 4th street in Bloomington!

Had lunch here with a friend, this is hands down one of the best places I’ve had Korean food and probably my fave restaurant in Bloomington now. The bulgogi and tteokbokki was fantastic, not to mention the sides you get are all so fresh and tasty. Couldn’t recommend this place more, really awesome and welcoming staff too!
Editing to add that the server was so nice and went out of his way to make us to-go ginger lemonades because we liked them so much. Shout out that dude, really awesome guy!

This place is definitely worth trying to Korean food. Wanted to try this place for a while and finally had the chance to taste their food. So far, best Korean food in Bloomington. Side dishes were also legit. We are coming back for more Korean food.

Had an okay meal here.Service was somewhat iffy even though there weren’t many people here.Highlights were the free side dishes and spicy squid while the bulgogi and kimchi pancake was okay.There were two bugs on the wall by us which was a big turnoff.I don’t know that I’d go back.
My kids and I have found our new favorite place! Everything was so good and the staff was very friendly Especially loved the little appetizers picture here. Can’t wait to go back!

Everything is SO good!! I'm Korean and I had pretty high expectations for Korean food, and everything was sooo good. My friends ordered a bunch of dishes and shared it family style, highly recommend the military style stew, bossam, spicy pork, galbi, honestly everything :-) and the server (I think he was the owner) was so nice!!

Got the spicy kimchi stew carryout. The food was all ready promptly and packaged well. I rode my bike home with it pretty cold outside, but the stew was still quite hot and fresh by the time I was home. Solid portions, I stretched it to two meals easily. SUPER tasty too! All the sides were quite delicious too. I'm excited to try more food from here.
