This place is amazing! Great drinks, even “mocktails” for the non drinkers and great, friendly service!
Love this place. It’s unique. Decor is fun! We got their open time wrong and they opened early for our group. They have the best margaritas and specials. Highly recommend!
Staff was great. Super friendly the day we went.
The food is just ok nowadays it used to be amazing. The prices have been jacked up so it’s no longer worth wasting the time waiting for your server to eventually come find you. Unless you get the one good server you might spend 20 minutes just waiting to see them. Used to be a cute place for a drink and some food but now it’s overpriced and lacking. Save yourself the trouble and go to Pilis and get a drink somewhere else.

Server was great until she wasn't! Tamales were excellent as she recommended them. Salsa trio was very good, rice bowls very good (huge, you can share) and enchiladas really good. Margaritas are below average. Chicken quesadilla came out without chicken, server disappeared, manager reordered the correct one for us and it took over 30 min for it to come. A quesadilla? Takes 2 min to cook! Side of rice didn't come, when the quesadilla finally arrived, the cheese was not melted. This is a huge space, great for groups but they need to improve service, our server never even apologized for all the errors. Not sure we will return.
The service is possibly the worst you will ever get. The food is good if you can put up with the staff. This is not a joke it’s that bad. Was there on a weeknight wondered why no one was there. Well it now makes sense!

Really can't tell you much about this restaurant, due to the fact that they refused to honor our reservation. Could not tell us when they might be able to seat us. In Bloomington from out of town and were relying on a reservation for parents weekend. Forced to go elsewhere and wait for availability. Disappointed, unhappy and surprised at the lack of professionalism. Beware!
Great Mexican place in downtown Bloomington. Family had dinner here when dropping off our freshman. Great ambiance and vibe! Food too was pretty decent. But unfortunately, they were short-staffed and we had a newbie (literally day 1) server - who was totally untrained and completely unfamiliar with the menu (or Mexican food in general e.g. she had no idea what a cheese enchilada was!?!). SO that really impacted our overall experience. Also we had a vegetarian in our group (and since the server was unable to help) the "manager" stopped by and recommended some dishes - but unfortunately the order came out wrong - so they had to take it back, and they brought it out late after others on the table had almost finished eating - that too was a bummer! Last nail in the coffin, we ordered a second round of drinks which never came.... but guess what...it was included in the check (!), so now we had to waste even more time correcting the bill, etc. So really not a good first experience and not sure if I would recommend. It might be hard but I may be up to try this place again since the vibe and food were decent - but I'm really, really hoping (for their sake) that the management takes control of their service and better hires/trains their servers!

I’ve been here two times in the last two weeks. Both times, the service was abysmal; painfully and awkwardly slow. Staff seemed to not have a care in the world about providing service, more interested in hanging out with each other and having a good time. The second visit, after a prolonged wait we had to find our server to put an order in for an appetizer. After it was served, we had to ask two different times for silverware. Had to ask multiple times for drink refills and finally had to ask to get our bill. It was awful. I tried twice but never again. Too bad, cool looking place and the food was good.

The truth is in the service, if they lack too much, their customer service is too cold, they don't make you feel at home and they don't even give you drink options when you arrive. They really lack a lot in customer service.

Every time I go here I get turned away because they are “closed”. It was 9:45 on a Saturday and on the website and door it says they close at midnight. This has happened twice and both times there’s people in the restaurant with menus. The staff is just rude and lazy. I just wanted to sit at the bar and get a margarita after work.

It was so busy and not enough servers. We waited a long time for our food once order was placed. And an even longer time to get check when we were done. Very friendly staff and excellent food. Just not enough help.
