Phenomenal bookstore! All of the staff is very kind and helpful, and the vibes in the store are immaculate. If you haven't been here, what're you doing?
I love this local book store.
My favorite part is their support of local artists.
I do wish it had more seating and all the seating areas had places to charge.
Amazing independent bookstore in Bloomington. The booksellers are kind and knowledgeable, and they have an awesome selection of books. And coffee! Love it. Highly recommend.
Everything you love about a bookstore is here!
Great bookstore!!! Large selection and a cafe!!! Cafe and bar!!! Such a great place
This cafe prepared my order as requested. Good quality.
To the individual who was behind the cafe counter yesterday
(11/20) afternoon and made my drink. It was quite literally the most perfect drink. Thank you for a glorious salted caramel latte. 20/10.
Would have liked a little more Spanish language material, but it's a lovely bookstore with a nice café.
Good coffee and great experience. What goes together better than coffee and books?
I so missed a good book store in Bloomington. Great experience, good coffe, very inspiring! In the age of zoom and Teams, flat screen meetings, it is wonderful to have a live experience!! Thank you!

This is a great bookstore for browsing, reading and chatting. The coffee bar has a good selection of drinks and treats like cookies and bagels. There are always small groups of people enjoying conversations and the casual atmosphere. Check it out!
Nice place to study, meet with a friend over coffee, or browse for books. It is very popular, though, and more seating is needed.
I love this place so much. It has changed a lot since I started going simply because they’ve gotten so popular. I fell in love with it because it was a book store but also like a community center where you could hang out around people in your community and feel involved without having to put yourself out there too much. I have anxiety leaving the house, and for a long time Morgenstern’s was my happy place. I could feel included in the world around me, but not overwhelmed by crowds of people. It was a whimsical slice of community and comfort. That’s different now. It is bittersweet that they are so many other people’s happy place now, too. I am glad they are doing well, they are the best, most accessible bookstore in town (as far as parking is concerned, but even that’s changing as there have been times all the spaces are full, too). This makes it extra unfortunate that there is never enough seating during the week and weekend mornings. When I get the energy I like to stop by. I just wish I could hang around for longer than a quick walk through. Hopefully more indie bookstores set up in town seeing Morgenstern’s success. Or maybe they could open another store on another side of town, just to disperse the crowd a bit better.
Easily the best bookstore in Bloomington. There's a reason it's always so busy.
Great bookstore. Nice little area to sit and enjoy snacks and drinks. Great place to find gifts. Wonderful staff.
