Always a solid place for pizza and beer. Nice selection of toppings, sauce and crust. Close to IU campus so has a definite college vibe and can get loud.

The best pizza in Bloomington, the state of Indiana, the Midwest, the USA, and the world. Always have a great experience with the staff and the atmosphere matches the amazing pizza. Worth the trip to have a slice.

My wife and I are in our 70’s and have been going to Mother Bear’s since our college days at IU. Whenever we’re on campus we stop by for the stroms. My daughter’s boyfriend proposed to my daughter at thid restaurant. Unfortunately the service and food prep at Mother Bear’s on our recent visit was really bad. The waitress spilled water all over my wife with no apology. The stroms were badly burned and the wait staff kept us waiting for our food forever. The current staff is rather snide and inattentive. I’m sad to say that I would recommend you eat elsewhere. Nick’s has always been great—we’ll head there from now on.
