We go there everything we visit Bloomington. Great food and service.
As a new freshman at IUB, I was overwhelmed by all the food options near campus. After a 20-minute walk from my dorm to down a street packed with restaurants serving Chinese, Indian, Burmese, and more, I chose My Thai Downtown for my first meal out and I’m glad I did. Even with other guests already there, the wait time was super short, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive.
I ordered fried rice with beef and a small tom yum soup with shrimp, and my boyfriend got crispy chicken with ginger and jasmine rice. The food was so good I could cry, and the huge water cups were a surprisingly nice touch. We sat on the deck with a nice breeze, and the total was $43.17 (plus cash tip). Overall, this was a perfect first dining experience in Bloomington and I would recommend this place to anyone here. :)
I would like to give 4.5 in the food because of the spicy level is not Thai spicy level personally. However, I love the way the staff is friendly and so professional. If you want to feel comfortable and enjoy the good foods; it’s a place for you. Overall, I love the place as an introvert person. Will try again next time if I’m in Bloomington again.
Had the pad kee mao, dumplings and the noodle curry dish. The food is flavorful and decent keeping in mind that this a Thai restaurant in a small town. Overall, I’d say it’s worth a visit. My only ding is against the service which was disappointing.
Enjoyed the outdoor seating. The food was very good
I lived in Chicago for 14 years and this tops everything I ever had. Seriously. This place has the best Thai food you will ever lay on your taste buds. I trust whoever cooked my meal with my whole life. I love My Thai.

Thai spring rolls were great. Tom Yum soup had just the right kick to it and very flavorful. The Pad Puk with chicken was very good, sauce was a little watery and would have made the review a 5 if it had been a little better.

We've been going here for years. Love the food, Thai Basil Rolls are excellent and the Tum Yum Talay. Everything that we've ever had has been really good. Fast service. But perhaps the nicest thing is that they remember us. The theme song of the TV show "Cheers said that it's nice "to go where everybody knows your name." There is a lot of truth there!1

This used to be my absolute favorite Thai restaurant. Not entirely sure what's happened over the past few years, but my food was atrocious. Ordered Thai hot, food came out cool with not a single Thai chili. The wife ordered medium and it looked like they put my chilis in her order. My food was so bland and sticky, not at all like what I had been accustomed to ordering for years. Could've went to a China Buffet and had better a better experience. Literally week old shrimp fried rice is better than what I just ate. I hate to say that I'll never spend another dollar here again.

My waitress was extremely kind. Authentic Tom Kha soup. Patio seating is beautiful. 4th street and some good soup is an excellent way to spend an evening. Come to

The service attitude was not good. I waited for about 30 minutes and brought me the wrong food for the first time. However, the waiter didn't say anything and made me wait for a long time before he came to serve me. I used to eat here often, but this time Very disappointed, the soup I ordered was not as delicious as last time
