Had a terrible experience with our server, Melanie P. She was extremely rude and inattentive, only coming to our table to take our order, bring the food, and drop off the check. During those few interactions, she rolled her eyes at us multiple times and even asked if we were leaving because “there are people waiting outside for your table.” I’ve never been told to hurry up and leave before, it was incredibly unprofessional. I’ve worked as a server myself and understand how stressful the job can be, but this was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I honestly regret tipping 20%, and it felt like she took advantage of the fact that we were college students.

Nick's has the BEST gumbo I've EVER had, and I'm from Louisiana! The biz fries and wings were amazing too. Service was excellent - both Bekka and Mariah were absolute sweethearts that made us feel right at home!

Ive been coming here for over 20 years. Nick's has the best Italian beef in Indiana (add provolone grilled onions and grilled peppers!), locally sourced burgers to die for, a really great bourbon selection, and the best waitress I've ever met.... Moriah is the most adorable and attentive lady ever and keeps me coming back nearly every weekend with my friends and family to chat it up! One time she even personally ran to my elderly mother's car to replenish her meter (I think it was also raining). Come on in, you won't regret it!

This is a great place for the older crowd and parents to watch the game if they dont want to mingle with the college students. My Italian beef was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The service was great Caroline behind the bar was very kind and welcoming. Ill definitely be back and will be a regular during my time in Bloomington.

Overall establishment was amazing. Great drinks and food prices. The bartender, (I think Lauren) was extremely rude and not friendly at all. It made our experience disappointing.

Thank You Cassie for actually calling me to tell me I left my credit card at Nick's. You and your other team members are so kind and it shows that you enjoy the people you meet and the work you do. I was visiting from Fort Myers, FL and you made me feel very welcomed and the food and drinks you served me were great! Have a good School Year ~ Mark

Nick’s is a classic pub on the main street right by the university. It’s full of Indiana memorabilia and a really fun and convenient place to go.

I got the BLT, which was good and came with a LOT of bacon. The atmosphere is nice and the decor is very cool. The service was a bit slow, especially given how few patrons there were in the restaurant at the time. Still a fine experience.

Such a cool place with a great history. I've now been three times in the past few months. Each time disappointed in food but keep trying it because I really want to like this place and bring friends to when in from out of town.

There is food and beverage. Dining upstairs and dining downstairs. If you go upstairs there are small booths against the wall–actually they cling to the side of the wall like one of those big white sheep on impossible cliffs. You can drink like a sheep would drink if a sheep was able to hold a glass jar full of beer. The French fries are good, seasoned as if humanity just discovered seasoning, if you care to order them that way.

Someone said they’re known for their Italian beef. Or I may have just fabricated that as a reason to try it. The made-to-order sandwich is good. It comes with a cup of au jus or something so I promptly drown the entirety of the sandwich. Both hands were required to lift the sopping heap of hoagie, beef, pepperoncini's, and cheese (added) to my mouth. I inserted the mass into my maw with all the grace of a one-year-old partaking in their first birthday cake. Oral euphoria followed.

Prompt service, friendly staff, wall-side tables, beef that would make your grandmother say things she used to say to your grandfather. I recommend it and will be back.

Bring your ID if you look like you’re there to drink out of a bucket, or whatever that was about.

Front of house staff is horrible. Took my real ID and had to get the police involved to get it back… surprise I got it back. Apparently there is no manager on site, just young ones on a power trip. The 5 foot college kid working at the front flipped me off on the way out. Lovely experience!
