This is a gem of a restaurant in Bloomington! Four of us went for my mom's birthday dinner. Despite different ages and different palates (and two vegetarians), we all loved our meals. They were so creative and the ingredients were all fresh and local. Service was great too. We can't wait to go back to Oona!

When Oona replaced the old Feast, most of the customers seem to have disappeared. Which is their loss, because this new restaurant is extraordinary. The concept of not having a fixed menu is new to Bloomington. You have to trust that the limited number of dishes, which change every day, will nonetheless be terrific. Which they are, unfailingly. I've had various entrees and appetizers there in the past few months, and everything has been inspired and amazing, usually involving fresh local food. Oona has a tasty and inexpensive list of beers and wines to go with the food, which is also quite reasonably priced. I do end up spending more than I sometimes intend because the appetizers, from the French fries to the dosas, and the dessert ice cream sandwiches and fancy brunch donuts, are just too good to pass up. That said, I had a giant plate of imaginatively and perfectly prepared perch with sides for around $20. You really won't be sorry for putting your lunch or dinner in the hands of Oona.

I just ate the best food I have ever eaten in a restaurant. And I eat out ALL THE TIME. First of all, it was exquisitely beautiful. I will attach pics. Second, Oh. My. God. Words don't do it justice. I hope you have a chance to visit this place. Update: For the best culinary experience, go on a day when the chef-owner Erika Yochum is in the kitchen.

Since Oona opened we have been at least twice per month. There are always new items on the menu. They use combinations of foods that most people would not even think to put together. Truly one of the best restaurants in Bloomington. The last two times I had the main fish entrees (walleye and perch) I literally said each time, this is one of the best fish dishes I have had. Great job Oona, keep serving up some of the best flavor combinations in Bloomington

Wouldn't eat there if it was free . Notice how trip advisor rates them as 214th out of 293 Bloomington restaurants , and the mediocre 3.5 here . Their 4.1 on Google is supported by false 5 star reviews by past and current employees . Shows true character .

My hubby and I went for a nice dinner, wanted to try something new. Heard this was a good place so decided to give it a try. Well, once we saw the prices we thought about leaving but decided to stay... Big mistake!!! The portions were so small and the food, nothing to brag about. Needless to say, we should have left once we saw the prices!!! Will not be going back!!! :(

I love this place. The food never disappoints. Great wine and beer selection. It's a funky hip spot to sip rosé on a cute pink patio.

It was good, the server was great, it just lacked something. With such a small menu, I was expecting to be blown out of the water and it was very good, just not amazing. My gnocchi was very good and the pasta special was good as well.

My husbands GPS took us to the wrong restaurant, which turned out to be the “right” restaurant!! OMG, fantastic brunch!!! Amazing food, great service & loved the outdoor seating amongst the beautiful plants! Thank you for a fantastic dining experience !

Went to Oona for a late dinner and had a very good experience. We sat on the patio and were maybe the only customers there. Had the duck fat fries to start which were good but the 2 sauces they came with were the best part. Then had the Kimchi Fried Rice which I enjoyed but did think it was really salty. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, she definitely made the experience more personal. Even gave us a free dessert which I can't remember the name of but it was a donut pastry with cream inside. It was great! The decor and atmosphere was very cute and upscale. Probably won't be back soon because the prices were quite high but I still enjoyed it nonetheless.

I still dream about the jalapeí±o coconut kale, but the turmeric potatoes in my dosa needed more seasoning. Everything I ordered was instagrammable, which ultimately worked against Oona given that my main course looked better than it tasted. Would I come back again? Maybe, but not without smuggling in a Clif bar or planning on a 2nd dinner - the portions were tiiiny.

Excellent local gourmet restaurant! I truly appreciate how they use locally sourced ingredients. Very limited seating if the weather isn't good enough to utilize the outdoor seating so best to make a reservation if you want to be sure that you get a table

I really enjoyed their Fresh Orange Juice Mimosa. The creator of the dishes obviously places a lot of attention to detail and combining the right perfect and rare ingredients. Beautiful restaurant for your palette.

This restaurant used to be called Feast. It was a happening little place with an excellent menu, reasonable prices, and top quality food. It was always packed, and for good reason. I come into town from California, and always looked forward to a meal here. Had lunch there today in the new restaurant, Oona. As I understand, same owner and chef, but with a different theme. The food was good, but prices were 2-3x what they were previously. The menu was "eclectic ". Definitely not comfort food like before. The restaurant was empty. Interesting experiment, but if you base the success of the new concept on the demand from the community, I think this concept will be short lived. They had a good thing before. Sometimes is best to leave a good thing alone. RIP Oona. I will not be back for another visit.
