Unfortunately very disappointed with a recent cake order. I provided a clear inspiration picture and color palette, and received a cake with random colors used. Additionally, I provided a message to be written out on the cake, and the full message was not included (I already emailed the team pictures and didn't receive a response so am sharing here as well).
I appreciate the work that went into this cake, but am very disappointed with the outcome.

I ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for a bridal shower a week in advance. Photo left was the reference and photo right is what was received. While the cake tasted fine, the design did not meet my expectations at all. Had I known the decoration would look so amateur, I would’ve tried doing it myself. Definitely a disappointment to have on display at a special event.

Ordered a rush birthday cake while in Bloomington from out of town (chocolate on chocolate) and not only was it ready early, and decorated perfectly, but was one of the most moist, delicious, and flavorful cakes I have ever had. Fed a group of 22 people (mostly from NYC, London, and Paris) and every single person raved about it being a phenomenal cake. Will absolutely be ordering from here again next time I need a cake in Bloomington!

While Rainbow Bakery used to be exclusively vegan, they are no longer a fully vegan bakery as they are now making products containing dairy without having proper cross contamination prevention. It’s so disappointing as they were the only vegan bakery in 50+ miles and the new owners care more about a profit than keeping the very thing that made them unique. Also their website has not been updated since 2023 and still states that everything is vegan. Shame on you!
Save your money and go somewhere cheaper!

This place advertises they are 100% vegan and they are ABSOLUTELY NOT! They have dairy products which is not vegan. Very dangerous to those with milk allergies who can only eat 100% vegan. Lawsuit waiting to happen.

If you have a vegan, dairy free, or gluten free diet this is a wonderful place to get you a treat. I struggle to eat out with Alpha Gal and here I have nothing to worry about on the menu. Everything is great, but I absolutely love the Homer and Raspberry doughnuts!

We got an array of things to try this bakery for the first time. The donuts were our favorite from what we got but also the best we’ve ever had. My son’s favorite was the cupcakes. My carnivore husband even tried the vegan curry and said it was surprisingly good.
Best vegan pastries in all of Indiana state. Make sure you buy a Samoa too 👁👄👁

I was able to place a same day custom cake order, and they literally had it ready to go in a couple of hours. I never expected that type of turn around, it was amazing—I was just calling to see if they had any cakes ready to go and they whipped together a beautiful custom cake instead. This is one of the best moist cakes we have ordered, and we had to store it in the fridge. I can’t wait to order here again.
