I love this place so much! Food is always amazing. Great place to get a group of friends and share a bunch if different things! We like doing the lion roll, mountain roll, eel roll, and the seafood soup ? ? ?Vegetarian options: Veggie roll is fine. The vegtable tempura is also alright.
Last week we ordered the sashimi entree and they forgot the wasabi and they told me I had to drive back to get it, the drive there was around 45 minutes for one small container of wasabi. Today, we ordered the 3 combo of shrimp tempura and they only gave me 2 order when it should be 3, when I called back no one picked up the phone.

I'm glad that there is such a Japanese restaurant in Bloomington. The food quality is quite good, there is a parking space in the back, and it is very close to the school.

Excellent sushi! I did not expect the sushi plate to be so big and high quality. Highly recommend. The service was good, our waitress took awhile to check-in and they were not very busy but it could have just been less staff working that day.

We ordered the Shrimp Dumplings as an appetizer. I ordered the Mountain as an appetizer and the Chicken Katsu Crunch to go. My partner ordered a Dragon Roll and the Mountain as their entrees, and another Dragon Roll to goEverything was exquisite, the flavors were amazing, and the service/atmosphere only heighten the experience of dining here.Although our bill ended up nearing $100, it was well worth it for the quality of food!

Always good experience at Ami. Pork, sukiyaki and kalbi are on the sweeter side. Overall, pretty good.
We went for my birthday. Everything was great. Our server was awesome and said he was new. We even had the tempora ice cream which is huge and could easily be dessert for 4 people.

We used the karaoke ? room for a birthday celebration. It was a private room so children could come too and not have to be in an environment with alcohol. It was such a wonderful experience. We will be back and I highly recommend you try it.You can start singing as soon as you are seated in your private room and then eat and sing some more.Great experience great staff.
