Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

I had this for the first time yesterday and I'm hooked. You guys have a great thing going, so glad to have you in town and especially on hot days!

Kinda hard to find the correct door to go in and the "lobby" is tiny... But they are very good at describing what types of drinks you can get and offer free samples before making your selection. The custard and Italian ice combo is surprisingly refreshing!! Not too sweet.. and just the right mix of flavors. I'm definitely going to have to come back a few more times to try a couple other kinds!!!

Great product and all. Stood in line for 3 hours to meet Steve Wilkos from Jerry Springer. He wasn't there. I was under the impression he was the franchise.

This is the most magical place ever! Rita’s has the best custard/ Italian ice ever I recommend this place to anyone. All the employees there are amazing and so nice and kind! You can’t go wrong with this place! Everything is absolutely a 10/10.

The words, Wow, wow and wow! Best frozen custard and the Italian ice, this is now my favorite icy drink ever!It is over the top amazing!!

Firstly, GET THE COTTON CANDY GELATI You will thank me later hahaI've been to 2 other ritas, both in Pennsylvania and now that I'm in Bloomington, I was so happy to see the other day that we have one, and not only that but its open ALL YEARI am a sucker for their gelati, the texture is so perfect and its a perfect ration of Italian ice and custard. It tastes exactly the same as I remember it, so good. My fiance got a small cup of the chocolate custard, which he said was really good.

Parking: We were worried about the parking, as we know that area of town tends to always be filled, but we lucked out on finding a spot down the road along the street. Thankfully, Sundays (I think all weekends?) has free parking, but even when its payed if you're just dropping in and leaving just throw a quarter in the meter. There's also a parking lot behind the building (I know it as behind the ramen shop, but I'm not sure the lot or road name) which is either always payed, or the same as the street meters (cannot remember).The staff were awesome, i sampled 2 things and my fiance 1.The cherry italian ice wasn't that good, didn't really taste strong like cherry. And the orange cream was strange. But hey, you might like it and samples are free so try what you like! (Cotton candy is the bomb). The staff were very nice.All in all, 10/10 great place for a sweet treat.PS. They have an app! You can get free stuff through it. I got offered a free small ice after just signing up

Soooooo delicious and nice variety. The young woman who helped us was super sweet. I did feel bad for her, because the man who I think was the manager on duty was pretty rude/condescending to this employee to an uncomfortable degree. I wish I got the name of the young woman who helped us because she was great!

Staff was nice

Stumbled into here after sake and sausages at Yatagarasu (fiancée had a sweet tooth and this was super convenient).Daylen/Dalen and Geoffrey were fantastic salesmen, and pointed out to the lactose intolerant fiancée that most of the italian ice is dairy free (huge plus!!!!).Daylen was also kind enough to give us a few samples as well as side-by-side (in the LARGE cup) Blue raz/Cotton candy. We also tried the Green Apple and Banana (she got banana). All the flavors we absolutely fantastic.Loved it so much I left the duo $5 and change each as a tip.Thanks again!
