With such great reviews it should have been better. The restaurant started out as unique until you see the dust, cobwebs, and torn bench seats. The staff were great getting drinks and food out quickly. Unfortunately, the cook added too much of something into the pancakes giving them a bitter taste and the inside of my French toast was uncooked due to leaving the bread to soak too long. The coffee was unique in appearance but was so acidic we were not able to drink much of it. Such a sad experience for such an expensive but not finished meal. Run, don't walk from the Run-cible Spoon.

Absolutely lovely spot - old house converted into cozy booths and very kitchy. Great breakfast options and friendly attentive staff. Is top of my list to go again next time in

1. A restaurant with a very special atmosphere. You can sit outside when the weather is nice.2. The waffles are huge! very delicious!3. The smoked salmon hash browns are worth ordering as they have a lot of salmon.4. The coffee is delicious, especially the hot latte5. There are many locations but they are quite close to each other, and child seats are provided.

We always make it a point to visit Runcible Spoon when visiting IU's campus because they have the BEST homemade corned beef in the world. Try it in an omelette, you won't be sorry even if you have to wait for a table.

Had the eggs Benedict. Requested eggs runny, they wasn’t. Biggest turn off though was their home fries. They must put cumin in them. Tasted like taco fries. Just normal home fries for breakfast make more sense to me. To each their own though. Seating inside is awful. 3 of us at a little bitty table. Service was great though.

I love to go on Tuesday nights when there's an Irish Music Session from 7-9:30pm or so.Vegetarian options: About half the menu is vegetarian.Parking: After 5pm until 7am, and on weekends, the giant Poplar's Garage directly across the street is free.Kid-friendliness: It's a laid back atmosphere

This is a cute place and the service isn’t bad but the food is just not good. The home fries don’t have any crispiness to them. Just mushy and the seasoning isn’t great, served cold. Even things like scrambled eggs are made dense and overcooked. Rubbery. I feel like I’m being a served a meal made by someone who just doesn’t know much about cooking.

I come frequently to buy bulk tea of their amazing lapsang souchong bergamot tea blend "Moscow Nights".I've been for breakfast and lunch and dinner a handful of times and have always enjoyed my meal, (excellent food, staff, etc.) but I spend the most time there buying tea, which, I appreciate that the barista staff and owners are willing to accommodate this and really love that they sell their teas wholesale! For the sake of the staff I recommend to buy tea during an off hour (i.e. 4pm on a Saturday) but even when it's been busy the staff are more than happy to accommodate my purchase. The place always has a very laid-back welcoming atmosphere, and I appreciate it!

Limited breakfast menu and waitress refused to scramble my wife's omelette in a surly manner.. there are better breakfast places on campus.

Quaint little restaurant. Corned beef hash is freshly made with real potatoes, and make sure you ask for extra corned beef.
