We came in to downtown with a reservation for dinner at Che Bello. After literally being ignored for 20-30 minutes after being seated we walked out and went next door to Samira. We were immediately greeted by the host and seated. Within seconds the server was at our table taking drink orders and answering the numerous questions we had about the food. It was Friday night and relatively busy but the service was excellent and the food was great!!
The good was just ok. Nothing really wrong with it, just wasn't as good as I was expecting from as an expensive a place as it was. Waitress had to ask the chef to tell us what a menu item was. Rather pricey.
This is the best food I had during my short visit in Bloomington! Ordered "Combination special" with Lamb kebab ($23.95) that comes with quabili (Afghanistan's national dish with core ingredients of steamed rice mixed with caramelized carrots and raisins as well as marinated lamb meat, according to internet), manto (dumplings typically consist of a spiced meat mixture) and sambosa.
