First time here and I was very surprised all around. At first I thought it was a bit pricy until we got the food! The food was amazing! I have to say I had never tried a tempura tenderloin before and now I won't hesitate to order that again! Their fries are sooo good! Hot and crispy, and everyone got freshly cooked food.

Sara seated us at a great table with a view. She gave excellent service, and we will definitely come again. The food was high quality, contemporary, and delicious. The B&G were like no other, the gravy is chunky, not boring, with a kick! The poached eggs on the Benny were perfect. the bottle service for Mimosas is reasonably priced and the sparkling wine is crisp. The half price $ Bloody Mary was the best I have tasted. Definitely recommend this place!

If you are considering dining here, DO IT! We had driven past the Scenic View Restaurant at least a dozen times, each time saying ‘we should stop’. We finally did and WHY DID WE WAIT SO LONG!? The food was delicious! The wait staff was fantastic. We plan to go again during various seasons to see the beautiful view! You should stop and enjoy!

This is a casual place. They had a brunch special two high quality mimosas for $10. This is a surprisingly nice place given that it is next to a campground. It is particularly beautiful in fall.

Waited 30 minutes on a table. Another 45 minutes for our food to get to our table. I understand they are short staffed but we won’t go back. The food is overpriced and average.

Was very upset we made reservations for 1230 party of 10 group after group came in got their food first finally at 125 we walked out they kept saying food was coming it came as we walked out. Very poor

This is a hidden in plain sight gem! Right off the highway but you don't want to miss it. Great food, friendly service and a pretty view! Oh they make a delicious Bloody Mary.Vegetarian options: The veggie burger wrap was wonderful! Loads of mushrooms, artichoke hearts and peppers wrapped in a cheddar tortilla with a bean burger.

We've lived out on Lake Monroe, Indiana for over 40 years and have eaten at and seen the Scenic View Restaurant change over the years. The current management has so improved the experience of eating there and visiting a resort restaurant. The view is wonderful, food great, staff helpful and friendly. We strongly recommend it for a pleasant lake side experience.
