I always forget about this little gem hidden away in Bloomington, but I've never been let down by them! I would highly recommend the brisket, get it as a sandwich or standalone, and if you don't want brisket then smash on the ribs! Everything at this place is delicious, if you want to save some extra dollars then just get a water and use the extra money on sides! Very happy

I ordered a to-go salad with brisket. The salad was very disappointing, mostly lettuce with a few tomatotos and a light smattering of cheese. Brisket was okay, nothing special. I ordered bleu cheese dressing, but it tasted like ranch and had FETA in it instead of bleu cheese. On the good side, service was excellent and given with a great smile!

For some strange reason this was the first time I ever tried this place even though I've been coming to Bloomington all the way back when I had a fake ID at age 16.
If I'm being honest the ribs were the just okay but maybe I should try a different sauce with them next time. The original sauce just wasn't flavorful enough for me. The mac and cheese was mid, and for the first time ever in one of my reviews I have to get five stars to the green beans. Was totally not expecting the green beans to be the star of the show, but they totally are.
The staff is super friendly and nice and they did come out and ask if I needed anything. Meet little location, very clean and cozy. I will definitely give them another try very soon.

Just tried Smokin’ Jack’s Rib Shack in Bloomington on the way back to town. Their food was dang good and they have great value for the the amount of food you get. The staff had great service. 10/10 would recommend and go there again

Ordered a bowl of chili and instead of letting me know they were running low on it they just added bbq sauce and was thinking a person wouldn’t know the difference I’m extremely pissed and will not be going back.

I ordered a brisket sandwich, Mac and cheese, cole slaw, and corn bread. I checked my order before leaving but everything was in little containers and I couldn't really tell what anything was. I figured it would be fine. I was given pulled pork not brisket. It was juicy but tasteless, not at all smokey. The Mac and cheese was also without any flavor. The cole slaw was good and I did not get my corn bread.
It was quick and reasonably priced, but I would not try it again.
