Only reason I took a star away was for the food specifically, but I'll get to that. Our server was amazing, she was super sweet, didn't come by too often, but made sure we had everything we needed. I'm not even gonna lie, the reason I took a star is because of their queso. It's good, but you definitely don't get enough for $13 worth. I could go to my favorite Mexican restaurant and get the same amount of queso for less. Queso is my favorite thing in the world, don't judge me. The tacos however, were awesome. I had the pork and tuna tacos and they were packed full of flavor. Only thing is that they were also a little too packed with stuff. So much I couldn't really take a comfortable bite. Small thing that might not matter much, but I like to be able to not have half of the contents fall out on my plate and get cold. All in all though, good time for sure.

I mean you know it was fine. Nothing remarkable, except for us getting happy hour pricing on our picture of Margarita which was just a massive iceberg could have sunk the Titanic with some tequila around it. It's not the worst but it leaves a lot to be desired. The pork belly the tacos are on point

My name is Jeffrey. I just experienced the most pleasant waiter, Jake the snake, in my life. Please note I am a Mexican restaurant connoisseur. My glass was never empty and left with my belly full. He made me feel like I was at a table with friends while I sat and ate by myself. He wasn’t only a waiter but a friend. I would recommend him to anyone who likes restaurants.

Hmmmm. Super disappointing. I ran here as Birria tacos were on their menu. I’m lost for words. They were simply tasteless. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, skip. I sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive and pleasant but the bar top was sticky and appeared dirty. It was a Monday lunch and I was as the only one at the bar, not quite sure why it was dirty. Super disappointed.

We went there looking at the review that it was good. Kids wanted to go to Mexican restaurant. I picked this one thinking it will be good because if it's location in downtown Bloomington.
Did not have a good experience. Ordered a flight of salsa with chips. Asked the girl for an extra tomato salsa sauce as it was in high demand by my boys. She charged an extra for that. If she had told me that it will be charged when I asked for it, I wouldn't be upset. We ordered the soft tacos. Food was cold. Never had such cold tacos before. Then boys went to the male restroom, there were no toilet paper. I told the servers in the front that there were no toilet paper. After 10 mins, it was still not addressed. I went to the female restroom , got some tissue paper and handed over to the boys to use them. Overall, did not have a good experience.

Awesome tacos. Great staff. Disgusting bar top. I come in regularly for a cold beer after work and I have never once had my drink served on a coaster. Always directly on the bar top. You can see the rings from bottles and glasses have stained the bar top. I see the coasters, sitting on the bar, but for some reason they never use them and it has damaged the bar top and generally it's sticky as if no one wiped it down during their shift. Your beer reps give you free coasters! Use them! It's gross to bare back the bar top kids!
The food was very good. Service was good. Aimed, I think, for a bit more of a college crowd, but not overly crowded. The spicy margarita was stupendous
