Extremely rude behind the counter talk about what I ordered. I think staff need to be trained a little better or at the very least The brown haired girl that pulls her hair back into a pony tail needs fired.

I don’t understand why so many locals and students recommend Soma. I’ve only been a couple of times but the tea here is terrible, and I’ve never had matcha taste so bad before. I’ve tried their matcha lattes several times with different milks and it was also really bad. I don’t know if they just use a low culinary grade for it or what but it is truly terrible. Their food can be okay and I appreciate that they half the prices of food that’s been out for a day, but it doesn’t really make up for the drinks when it’s a cafe/“coffee house.” I also haven’t had the boba myself but my friends who I came with have and they’ve all said extremely negative things about it.
I’ve always had good experiences with the baristas, and the building itself has an alright vibe, but definitely do not come here if you want a good tea.

For some reason, the wifi is limited to one hour and requires another purchase after the hour ends. This is supposedly because of the small parking lot, but I'd be willing to wager that most customers using wifi aren't using the parking lot in the first place as it's limited to 15 minute parking and most students aren't driving to Soma... If you're looking for a place to sit down and get some work done, this location is not the one.

Many days, this is my morning coffee stop. I love the Top of The Morning coffee and Zombie mocha. Coffee prices here are pretty much the same as Starbucks. Soma darker roast coffee beans are great for espresso.
