These are hands down the best donuts in town. Always fresh and if you (hypothetically) accidentally leave one in your car overnight.... they are still fresher than any other donut in Bloomington.
Walking in this place was very spacious and maybe industrial. The donuts were super soft and delicious. The frosting was way too sweet. . . Like pure sugar. Boston Creme is my favorite, so these were ok. I only gave extra points because the actual donut dough was super soft and fried perfectly!
I hadn't been to SD in a while, happened to be in Bloomington and decided to get a half dozen. I asked for a half dozen of a mix, and it was great. I'd never had anything but their glazed yeast since they are so good, but I experienced THE BEST apple fritter I have ever had! So SD still has the best donuts around, I've been raving about them for years.It was also very reasonably priced. I guess I'm too used to Dunkin, but the prices here were lower.Now...
