We're from out of town and were looking for a good sushi place. All of the reviews we read were right. Sushi Bar had great sushi and the service was great. We are vacationing in Nashville and this was definitely worth the drive!

Really slow, and don't seem to care about how accurate the information they're giving is. Was told 15 minutes for my order, 25 minutes later and it still isn't ready. Said mine was next, two orders come out before mine. Might wanna prioritize the people that are already here to pickup orders, or maybe be more honest so I can choose to move on with another order.

Always have the best experience. THE BEST miso soup I have ever had. Period. Idk what they do to it but wow. And the spring rolls????? Omg they're so crunchy. Most places they're soggy and grease filled and I don't even like them. Here they are crispy, light, delicious, not soggy. Possibly the best spring rolls I've ever had too. Ngl.

Relaxed atmosphere, but some of the best sushi we've had in many months. We try sushi restaurants all over the Midwest and East Coast and this place really impressed us with the quality of seafood and attention to detail from the sushi chef. Truly an incredible hidden gem for sushi.

This sushi restaurant is no joke. After years of searching around Bloomington for even decent sushi and this place knocked it out of the park. On top of the amount of rolls they have, the quality of the fish was beyond impressive. Will be coming back many more times.

If you've seen the outside of this building, there's no way you've looked at it and thought, 'yeah, that looks like a respectable restaurant'. It looks like someone took over a mechanics shop and slapped the world's most generic label on it. "Sushi Bar." Not even worthy of a proper name!
Well, Sushi Bar is actually quite nice on the inside and they have a proper sushi chef. Those windows that look so unappealing from the outside are actually styled like authentic Japanese paper windows from the inside. Sushi's good, eel's good, other food's all good. Little bit more expensive then Restaurant Ami, but I'm not complaining. This is one of those places that's suffering from it's own lack of branding but is a bit of a gem on the inside.

I ordered a Chirashi bowl for delivery and ate it immediately after it arrived. I soon realized the fish both smelled and tasted wrong. Within ten minutes I was throwing up. I am concerned about the quality of the fish. Every time I've ordered from this establishment I've had issues with wait time being incredibly long. Overall, very unimpressed with this restaurant.
My 2 girls and I came to B'ton for a Blast to the Past day. Our last stop was Sushi Bar, and we weren't disappointed!We had a variety of appetizers plus 4 rolls. (See photos) EVERYTHING was as good as we remember! It was a little pricey, but great for a special day.Thanks to Sushi Bar for the memories!If this review was helpful, please give it a ? ❤️

Enjoyed every roll we had! Pictured is the Angel roll, 2019 roll, avocado roll and tuna roll. We ordered the spider roll and Ikura roll after the first round because it was so good! Sushi Bar is our new spot for sushi now. Service was great as well!
