Server has a lot of room to improve. Food was okay but I don’t like being upsold more meals. At this point I got full of something I wasn’t even planning on ordering leaving little room for my intended meal.
Nice cosy setting. Sushi is delicious but their highlight has got to be the bento boxes! You can select from a range of meats like salmon, beef or chicken, all grilled, which imo is much healthier! Portion is very generous too. Friendly staff and they remember the regulars. I came here throughout my college years, definitely recommend! It can be reached via the CM route campus bus that stops diagonally across the street.
Sushi was decent- value wise I would say on par with similar quality restaurants. The salmon and hamachi nigiri were very good. The tuna nigiri and tuna rolls tasted odd.
Service was very slow despite being one of four tables at the time. A number of improvements could be made atmosphere wise. The seating areas are fairly solid but the menu looks like it was thrown together in 3 minutes in word. Half an hour of effort or a template could make this look like a fine dining...
