I've been here three times and I've always had good food. They have a really nice cocktails for dinner as well. But the service has never been good and today's was just terrible! Waitress did not know their specials at all and when she went to check on the specials, she only came back with one of the three options. I had to ask for sweetener for my coffee twice (which BTW was $4.20 for a small cup of diner quality coffee!). And then she never came back to check on us or offer drink refills until we were fully done eating. They also have a brunch cocktail menu, mimosa flight, bloody Mary, etc., but it is no longer listed on the main menu and the waitress couldn't tell us what the options were. So I don't think I will be coming back here....

Incredibly inconsistent service and food quality overall. Multiple occasions have eaten at the bar, with inexperienced wait staff who audibly complain they do not know how to make drinks on menu, are unfamiliar with the menu in general. It’s one thing to fill in for the bar tender and admit you aren’t experienced, it’s another thing to use that as an excuse to not be attentive to service. Also contrary to the name.. there is minimal fidelity to actual “southern” cuisine.

Although the food they have now is good, its always the same thing. I guess they lost some chiefs who used to prepare the seasonal menus and had some great dishes that they took with them unfortunately. Their Ruben and PO boys were amazing, but I guess they may be just bringing certain things back in a different way and only limited times but not everything that used to make it what it was. I'm hoping they start to bring that kind of style back and some of the previous dishes back that were incredible.

We attended private dinner over the weekend and it couldn’t have been better! Food was fabulous and the restaurant was well staffed. The atmosphere was perfect for our large group. It was so good we came back Sunday for brunch!
