Recently bought a Prime grade porterhouse, cooked it on charcoal, it was one of the best steaks I've grilled for a while. Very tender, excellent marbling. Also got some ground round that had great flavor! Prices are better than comparable butcher shops in the Terre Haute area. Tbone Davis
This place has it all; from amazing staff, to good prices, to quality meats, cheese, fish and everything in between. I personally go once a day, and it’s probably my favorite part of my day. The guys inside are nothing short of ultra-friendly, kind, and extremely helpful. This place will continue to be a staple for not just me, but for all of my friends. Butcher Block should be the only place you go to if you are in search of cooking yourself an amazing home-cooked meal.
Loyal customer of many years and I'm still impressed by the customer service at the butcher's block. Recently I purchased a piece of fish that had bones. I attempted to return the fish which they were placed with a similar kind. I left the butcher's block with my original piece of fish and the replacement piece. Thanks so much!
