It appears they have updated their menu to some very interesting items. Not what I expected from Upland's sandwiches and burgers.

Burger bloody at Medium Tenderloin cold Nacho appetizer and macaroni was great but for 160 meal that did not have games on outside bar not worth cost. Server noticed burger not eaten never asked Way too expensive for bad burger joint Visited in past, will not return

First time at Upland and the food and service were really great. We enjoyed classic burgers, Mack and cheese, Brussels. Portions all large and burgers flame broiled. Also enjoyed a flight of beers and the server had a lot of great info about each. Feel like we finally found someplace in Bloomington that has quality ambiance too!

The menu online states that the nachos and wings are gluten free. This is not true. Neither are gluten free and therefore not celiac safe. Our server was amazing and very up front and honest about neither being celiac safe which we really appreciated. The menu should be changed to reflect neither are gluten free.

The food was solid, beer good, service good. Outside of watching the IU football game, I'm sure this is a great atmosphere, however we went there to watch the game and be in an exciting Bloomington atmosphere. They didn't have all the TVs on the game, speakers weren't connected to the broadcast, and it felt like we could t even cheer. All good, just not the place to watch a game.

Busy day as it is a football Saturday. We were seated before our actual reservation and had really good service considering how busy it was. The breakfast sandwich and burger were great. Very solid for the value. Had a the hazy IPA and it was fantastic.

This is overpriced bar food. Lots of better Food took an hour to come out (turkey sandwich and tacos!), servers seemed annoyed (I kept apologizing for inconveniencing them...? Even though we didn't do anything wrong!) Sat us by the kitchen and the door hit our chair every time they swung it open (every 45 seconds!) options right in the town square.

Fantastic experience...We enjoyed the Beer Roasted Salmon and the Smoked Pork Chop. Our food not only was beautifully plated, both were incredibly delicious. Our server was attentive and engaging...Great Beer! Can't wait to return!

We love eatting at Upland Brewing company! They have fantastic food AND awesome beer. What a great combo! Apps include wings, soft pretzels, crispy brussel sprouts and more. Mains include burgers, mac & cheese, tacos, amazing salads and the hot chicken sandwich is amazing!!
Terrible experience. I think the problem was that our server was also the bartender who was serving a very busy bar. We got there around 5:40 PM on a Tuesday evening. We ordered one appetizer and one entrée. The entrée came out at 6:40 PM and then I told the server “ we also had the poutine appetizer”. He brought out the appetizer right away. We decided to try it, because I received an email from IU saying they would give us a 20% discount, because we were going to an IU play that night. That added to my stress, because I didn't expect the food to take an hour to come out and we had to be at the play at a certain time.

i usually love upland and it's my favorite restaurant in Bloomington. But recently i've noticed they've been extremely understaffed. Today there were maybe only 5 tables in our area full but only 1 waitress. After waiting 25 minutes for her to even come to our table, we said we were ready to order everything at once. The waitress refused and said she would only take appetizers for now. This then delayed us ordering our main meals by another 30 minutes. This lunch took over 2 hours which should have never been the case

Enjoyed the Pig & Fig sandwich. Fun combo of sweet & savory on brioche bun. Pulled pork sandwich was generous. Brisket taco was a DIY plate which is nice. Served was friendly. Will return.

We made a late reservation (9:45pm) for a large party (8) due to some last minute planning and the team at Upland was amazing! It was a senior night celebration and everyone was so accommodating and friendly. They made us feel welcome and gave us time to enjoy our meals/beers, which were all perfect. I will sing their praises forever and will make Upland a regular spot for my family. Thank you so much for being great!

We had a nice experience with this Bloomington eatery. Even though we were early for our reservation, we were still seated immediately. Our waiter was friendly, enthusiastic, and quick. Unfortunately for Upland Brewing, we are not drinkers and so we cannot comment on any of the alcohol beverages. I was pleased that they did have caffeine-free root beer. Our tenderloins were tightly breaded, quite sufficient in size, and the chips and fries were tasty. We heartly recommend Upland Brewing Co. in Bloomington for a casual dining experience.
