Was there on game day with many other hoosier fans! No wait, great service! Our server, Hailey, was knowledgeable and very friendly! The pulled pork and blue cheese slaw was fantastic! Mimosas and Teddy Bear brews were a perfect pairing to our selections! Only one con, sitting by the door was a tad chilly! But the beer kept warming us! So overall, great experience!
As much of a Bloomington Institution than any other along these couple of blocks, and the downtown is incomplete without it. And I think I've earned the right to say that - I've been recently christened a townie, possibly to my dismay. But don't just take my word for it - close friends who have made Bloomington their home, graduated from IU, and regular strangers have hailed Upland as a favorite in the rotation. John S was our server last night and he made our dinner experience fantastic! We were celebrating my son's 18th birthday (but he didn't want that to be public) and we had a wonderful time. John was attentive and anticipated needs making a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. He was knowledgeable about the beers and made recommendations.
