Tasty food. Good and friendly service. Nice music and cozy ambiance. Great for date night.

I have been to Village Pub a handful of times. I would recommend this restaurant. When Village Pub first opened, I was fairly excited. It has a decent atmosphere and, despite the large TVs broadcasting sports, the alcohol display is fairly impressive. The food was good for a more casual experience and the drinks were nice. However, when I went back more recently, I was fairly disappointed that nothing had changed in over a year or so. Their specialty cocktails were basically the same as when they first opened and I'm unsure if the food menu changed at all as well.Village Pub has potential to be a great space to enjoy a lightly casual bite to eat and drink, if only they offered something new to returning patrons.

The food was great, out of our group of 18 no one he had any complaints. Will return again. I had the Wagyu steak and egg. Mixed drinks were good as well. The wife & her friends loved the switchblade.

Happen to hear the music caught my ear and look over and found a gem. It was such a pleasure that it’s my favorite go to at least a couple times a week… I am so excited to back and enjoy the company of the bartenders those gentlemen were very amazing… Then I got food poising from cross contamination and i have never been back since then, I did however meet the owner on another occasion let him know the situation but still never returned.

Most UNDERRATED bar/restaurant in Bloomington. Cleaned my plate and drinks were strong. Ben, Wynton—all the bartenders—and all the servers were incredible on 10/22. Will be back soon:)

All in all, I have to say pass this place by. My experience here is very underwhelming and disappointing. I sat at the bar. Clearly if you personally know a bar tender you will get service, but if you do not you are out of luck. The food might be good, but probably not at room temperature. I waited for 15 minutes , after my food was delivered for silverware. I had to ask for it twice. And, getting wine and drink refills was another exercise in pulling teeth. As an aside, the toilets are disgusting.

The place is really cozy and the service was really good. The bar has a great variety of beverages and the cocktails are good enough.I really like the deco, it’s something between modern and oldish thing. It’s a good place to good with friends or your partner. They also have a menu of really interesting plates, so it’s worth it to stop by.

We normally love it, but tonight was a terrible experience. The staff didn’t speak to us for several minutes even though it was dead, and they acted like everything was an inconvenience. They were more worried about talking about how drunk they get with their friends. Also overheard the manager talking about how sick he felt which really ruined our appetite. Do better, babes! Xoxo

The food is solid … I’ve just never been in a nice restaurant (or any restaurant for that matter), where the staff clearly forgets your dessert order and you proceed to watch them play Mario Kart on one of the big tv’s with other on- and off the clock members of the staff. In an area with so many good restaurants, we won’t be returning to the Village Pub.

The food is always great, the drinks are delicious and the bartenders are super helpful/knowledgeable if you want something off menu. In the evenings they have live music which adds to the cool atmosphere, and it's in a beautiful old building right downtown. What's not to like!?

This place is great for foodies and lovers of "small plates". Food is terrific and I am working through the entire menu!! Haven't had anything yet I thought was underpar -- and I'm pretty picky. My favorites so far: the Little Gem and Loaded Salads, the Volcano Fries, the Vegetable or Moroccan Lamb Skewers. Restaurant has seemed a bit understaffed on our last visit so be patient with your servers (in contrast to another reviewer, I have found the servers here to be perfectly pleasant).

Definitely worth a stop in! The interior is beautifully designed, two levels with an open concept. Go on a Saturday night and there may be a dj! Happened to be Latin night when I was there with friends. Service is super friendly. I haven't had any food, but they have quite the cocktail menu. Tried the "monarch" and it was delicious (and strong!) Can't wait for my next visit.

The food was great, the cocktails were yummy, the service was awesome. The music was just the right volume, so that you could enjoy it but still have a conversation with a friend.

Village pub is a nice place to get a drink. The Lipstick Switchblade was a great drink. The grapefruit was not overpowering which I enjoyed.

I was very Impressed with this place, We didn't know what to expect when I walked into it with my girlfriend to check it out. Just happened to be a Wednesday night and after 7:30 I believe is when they start some live music. One of the owners Sings. This is more of a relaxing sitting atmosphere and you will spend around $20 a person, but well worth it. Food was great and drinks were to. Brett I Think is another one of the owners and was walking around checking on customers. Great place!!
