I love the pastries at that place and the tacos. I hope they make sure the tacos are quality and don't add more salt depending on the cook.

So glad we found La Bodego! Originally from Chicago, we desperately missed authentic Mexican cuisine & ingredients other stores simply don't carry. On top of that, they have beautiful pastries, homemade Concha & donuts, including GF options, which for a Celiac is pure heaven! Can't wait to go back & explore & taste all they have to offer!

I worked with baker Ashley Abram, who provided the most delicious, moist, and tasty dairy-free, gluten-free cupcakes for my son's wedding reception. These cupcakes received rave reviews, both from guests who had dietary restrictions and those who did not. They were simply outstanding in texture and flavor! Highly recommend!

Love it here! It reminds me of my childhood and going to the Mexican store with my mom and grandparents ♥️ everyone is very nice and the food at Fin & Bone is delicious!

Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t go back. A group friends heard about their birria tacos on Tik Tok First, the tacos were heavily overpriced ( $5 per taco). At most places, the more basic tacos, like beef, are less expensive than something like steak or birria. Here they were all $5, with no taco combo options (so sides were extra!!). I probably could have lived with the expense, if the tacos were even worth it. If you want ACTUAl birria tacos you have to apparently ask for the Casa Birria tacos, which aren’t on the menu. The birria tacos on the menu are not the same as traditional birria tacos. You also have to order at least 3 tacos to get the birria dipping sauce, which also isn’t explained on the menu.

The server didn’t clarify what birria tacos we wanted when we ordered even tho she seemed to know that there was a difference between the ones on/off the menu. She also didn’t ask about the dipping sauce either. To her credit, she did bring us some when we asked and said she wasn’t use to being on that side. But, the menu was done horribly and the “birria” tacos they have on the menu just aren’t real birria tacos. I’m attaching a picture of what we got vs what we saw on Tik Tok. Not even close to the same. You can see that the color isn’t even remotely the same ( birria tacos are SUPPOSED to look like the ones in the Tik Tok). How you could serve anything else and call it birria doesn’t make sense to me.

I recently moved from Chicago and was looking for a good Supermercado, carniceria. La Bodega was 5min from home and I was super excited, have I found “my spot”?. It looked good inside, conchas✔️arrachera✔️adobo✔️El Milagro✔️. Then the shock set in… $12 for arrachera, $2.50 for a concha, $5 freaking dollars for tortilla chips and tostadas. $2 for a mini bushel of Cilantro?. I couldn’t be more disappointed, I thought I’d found my Raza, unfortunately I found novelistic appropriation of my culture. Don’t support this kind of greed, you deserve better. Don’t get me started on the $5 dollar tacos.
