Yatagarasu is the best ramen place in Bloomington. Located within walking distance of Sample Gate, it opens later in the day, perfect for a hungry student after classes. The atmosphere is composed of a mixture of modern and traditional decor. You can buy drinks from the bar, or have a sit down meal of ramen, hibachi, sushi, etc. It's fun to try brand new dishes each visit. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love this spot! The ramen is consistently delicious—rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and super fresh toppings every time. You can tell they care about quality and it shows in every bowl. It’s become my go-to comfort food place in town. The staff is amazing, very sweet and the food arrives hot and quick! The downstairs hot pot bar is a must try. Highly recommend!

Had the Rich Garlic Ramen with extra pork. It was excellent. The pork was downright spectacular. Egg was perfect. The broth was tasty. One of the best bowls of Ramen I have ever had.
