Love their boba drinkssss
The past few times I've come here the thai tea tastes bitter and like they use more milk than tea. I ask for extra sugar and never get it. This time it wasn't strained properly and I get tea leaves in every drink. I usually go somewhere else, but I was on the east side of town. I just end up disappointed going here now. They also seem short staffed because the wait was long and I only saw one person up front and one in the kitchen.
I've been a customer for awhile, but during my recent visit I noticed the prices on the receipt didn't match the prices on the menu.. so just be aware you are probably paying more than what is listed. I tried to ask about it and wasn't offered a solution.
Great place
I went here last week. I ordered a brown sugar boba and fried rice and fried chicken. The boba tea was not good, it tasted like regular white milk with a dab of syrup in it. The dish I was served was white rice not fried rice as advertised and chicken that was cooked in an air fryer. I would not recommend or return. I spent $22 for stuff I threw away.
Zero Degrees has east Asian food and drinks including but not limited to bubble tea, ramen, Korean-style corn dogs, and egg waffles. The store is colourful and cute but not over the top, and the seating is very comfortable. They have wifi.
I got a taro meets ube drink with pudding and a pumpkin spice egg waffle (fall special). I haven't had an egg waffle in a while since I don't know of any other place in Bloomington that makes them and I love pumpkin spice, so I was very excited about this waffle, and it did not let me down. The pumpkin spice flavour was nice, the waffle was fluffy and cooked right. They lightly drizzled it with a caramel sauce but the waffle itself wasn’t too sweet so it balanced out. I liked the taro meets ube, which was taro milk tea with ube paste. The taro and ube flavours were similar but enhanced each other. I didn't see if I could adjust the sweetness level, but the default wasn't overly sweet. I was able to get this drink with soy milk instead of regular milk, although the barista let me know that the ube paste contains milk that can't be removed.
The barista and lady cooking in the back both seemed very friendly. My drink was ready quickly. It took a while, maybe 15 minutes to get my waffle, but they apologized for the wait.
So cute! The girls working were so helpful and sweet! Our teas were incredible, crème brûlée was delicious and the cotton candy was fun! Highly recommend. 10a all around!
This place took 25 minutes just to prepare my SINGULAR milk tea. And It wasn’t even busy! Highly upset with this place it ruined my hopes and dreams of having a nice milk tea 😢
I have been coming there for years and to say it’s gone to crap is understatement. The ramen is great. The tea which I get the same strawberry fruit tea every time now taste sour, and like the tea is over steeped. I had to throw away my last two because of how sour and bitter it was. Either reach your workers how to make it the same. Or just stop.
Boba was ok. But was super excited to try the ramen after being told it was superb. Went in today. Got boba and ramen. And all I can say was I enjoyed the gas station pizza that was 20 min till waste better than this ramen. I could have put a pack of basic ramen in my microwave and cooit and it would’ve tasted better than what I was served today. So bland no flavor all it had going for it was the presentation and that was a huge let down after the first bite. Wouldn’t even feed this to my dog let alone eat it myself. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Specifically came here for Korean corn dogs. They were really good. I got an all cheese and a half cheese/half dog. There is a ton of cheese in these and it’s a good quality hot dog. Made fresh and crazy cheese pull✨ Also tried a milk tea, I got the specialty cookies and cream and it was so good! All the girls working were really nice and friendly. I would come back again💗
Korean corndogs are amazing
