Norman Jean's Ice Cream is well worth a trip to Borden, In. I ordered a banana split, and it was incredible. $5.99, and it was enough for 2 people to share. They have a wide variety of ice cream and treats as well as burgers, hot dogs, nachos, fries, etc. I would highly recommend Norma Jean's.

This is an AMAZING place to treat the whole family. Your choice of traditional hand scooped or soft serve, plus a "flavor of the week". The drive-thru service is fast & the girls are always smiling & friendly. I can't order ice cream for myself unless I also get a "pup cup" for my Pittie 🐕. Small town, big flavor!! 🍦🧁🍔🍟🌭

That place is quickly going to the toilet. The concrete needs a good pressure wash. The lights are busted and full of dead flies and other bugs. A very noticeable dead roach laying on its back by the trash can(which was noticed by a senior lady while there with her other senior friends). The little girl at the window was barely smarter than a box of rock, and keep getting orders wrong with the help of whoever the cook was. The tall girl at the other window had an attitude like ‘ here is your flipping food, have a nice day’. The construction guys in front of us had to go up to the window several time because they only got part of their order, and when they got it all, some was wrong. I ordered a dressed burger, no tomato, mustard no ketchup. I got a burger with pickles ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. My wife ordered an chocolate ice cream tornado and got vanilla. I heard several people complaining about one thing or another. Wow. Make them change the name to “come and get what you get and don’t complain ice cream.”

Has the best ice cream around! Went today after work and the ice cream was amazing. Unsure if the girl working the drive thru was having a bad day though.. she was rude and when she went to give me my change she was aggressive and half of it dropped on the ground. She went to give me the change from the register, but told her not to worry about it and had no response and just shut the window. All in all though, I appreciate having such a yummy treat on these hot summer days.

I am editing my review. The owner was very responsive and had her machine completely cleaned right away and offered a refund if I wanted. Original review: I don’t know what is in the ice cream, but my husband and I suffered for two days afterwards (and counting) with nausea, headaches and bloat (diarrhea). If it was just a bad batch, sorry but we will not be visiting again.

Such a cute little mom and pop ice cream place! Their hand dipped ice cream comes in many flavors are my kids fav treat. Also the Sundays with brownie added are ????! It sits right by a creek outback with some picnic tables. Def take the family and enjoy!
