After finishing my meal, I unknowingly dropped my wallet in the parking lot. Hours later—2 to 3 hours later—I realized it was missing. My heart sank with panic, because a wallet carries not just money, but your whole identity.

When I called the store, the staff reassured me right away: they had found it and kept it safe. That calm assurance was priceless in such a stressful moment. What touched me most was that they didn’t just ignore it or leave it lying there—they noticed it in the parking lot, took responsibility, and stored it safely until I came back.

A very special thanks to the manager, Jessi, who handled everything with so much care and honesty. The kindness and integrity shown by Jessi and the team turned what could have been one of my worst days into a reminder of the goodness that still exists in people.

“This place is a gem. Susan and the crew make the best fry pies. I’ve tried many other places, but this is my hands down favorite. The cheesecake ones are best nice and cold from the fridge. I haven’t had one I didn’t like yet. I’ve shared them with friends and family because everyone needs to have at least one! And everyone becomes hooked. I am now about 6 hours away and had pies shipped to myself and my family back home. They are THAT GOOD! Opening that package today was like Christmas. The only problem is trying to stop after one. They also freeze pretty well if you can’t get them all eaten. That’s never a problem at this house 🙂 but I have been known to hide one in the freezer before my kids demolish them all.”

We had an awesome experience at Rita’s Restaurant in Edgerton! The food was fantastic — the ribs were tender and literally fell right off the bone, packed with flavor. My wife ordered an omelette that was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The service was top-notch, and the management couldn’t have been friendlier. You can tell they really care about their customers and take pride in what they do.

If you’re anywhere near Edgerton, do yourself a favor and stop in at Rita’s — you won’t be disappointed!”

“Love this go-to pizza joint at the lake! Staff is always friendly, decent selection of beers on tap (for a small town) and the pizza and pizza rolls (calzones) are good!”

“The subs are absolutely my favorite! The bread is always fresh and awesome, they use quality meat, and the toppings are also fresh and you can easily tell them to leave off the ones that you don’t like. I have encountered some not so friendly staff occasionally, but for the most part the staff try to accommodate your preferences. The pizzas are hit and miss. Sometimes they are outstanding, and sometimes the toppings are scarce and disappointing. Pasta is offered as well. The Alfredo is so rich and fulfilling, that what seems like a small portion for the price is not accurate (you also receive some tempting breadsticks with the pasta). Overall, this little hole in the wall pizza shop is a must try and get enough for your whole family!”

“Our usual fish joint was jammed so we decided to try Lakers. They have now became our Friday Fish Night eatery. The place is clean, well lit, the staff is friendly and they have a friendly smile. The table behind us was noisy but that is not Lakers fault. I just love their tartar sauce. Fish and Chip dinner included two sides was all I could eat. They have my business”

“Ive never had any issues until tonight. The 2 young men working tonight were pretty disorganized , but apologized for it, and failed to read special instructions on my online order. Also- bacon is always supposed to be heated even if the whole sub is not unless specified.”
