Kid-friendliness: The workers were friendly and made my six year-old cousins have a great time getting lunch. My cousins absolutely loved the fireplace as well. The best part though were the cookies the kids got from the nice girl that was working.”

If I need to get out of the office and sip on a coffee, 9th Street Brew is where I go! The barista's are all so kind and make an effort to get to know their customers. “Absolutely delicious German and Italian food. From beginning to end deliciousness. Italian fries with fresh cut potato fries and topped with homemade spaghetti sauce. Potato Kroketten were awesome! I had chicken Marsala. My Excellent. My husband had Schweinegesschnitzeltes and loved it. Everything was great. Our waiter was marvelous. Can’t wait for the beer garden to open.”

“I went with a friend in April. Since it was just the two of us we were able to get a table without a reservation. Great tea selection. We tried the queen Karen’s afternoon tea. I needed to tell the waitress that I’m vegetarian so not all the sandwiches were all Meat sandwiches. I also took a look at the regular menu. I’m a little disappointed with the vegetarian selection which is only a grilled cheese sandwich. It when I told my waitress that I’m vegetarian they do have a cucumber sandwich with no meat and a pear Brie sandwich. Both were really good. The other disappointing thing about this place is that they place Christian music. In these kind of places there should be classic piano or classic violin playing in the background. Not everyone is a Christian, so that was frustrating. All in all, the atmosphere is very adult tea party and I loved it. I will be going back again. The fun thing about this place is that the church is attached to the cranberry cottage. And they’ve turned it into a shopping area. I purchased a couple of trinkets from there.”

“Great experience! We didn’t know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. The wine was really good. My wife had one of her favorite wines she’s ever had called “river water.” The view and setting were really nice looking over the country fields. And their pizza was really good. Definitely recommend and will be back.”

I was intimidated at first by the selection, but a guy named Keaton really helped me out by showing me how it worked and walking me through my order. He was a very polite gentleman. “Celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here tonight. Our rehearsal dinner was at the old Elegant Farmer, and my husband and I met in Bob Lebamoff's class in college! Decided this was the perfect place for our anniversary dinner.

We shared the cheese curds and the mac and cheese appetizers. Decided we would definitely eat the mac and cheese as a meal in the future.

My husband had the ribeye (which was cooked perfectly) and I had the scallops. Our friends had the walleye and the chicken. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and we even made room for dessert. We had the chocolate cake, cheesecake and the bread pudding. Everything was delicious! Our server, Carly, was fantastic. Can't wait to go back. Thank you!”

“A serendipitous stop on a hot summer's day lead to this strangely located but oh so good eatery. While we only purchased drinks if the food is half as good then wow!
I had the coco lime rush from the Dirty Soda menu. Talk about delicious and hitting a cool note on a hot summer day.
The hubby had chocolate malt which he pronounced perfect.
Prices were quite reasonable. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda from which we spied a pretty city park where we finished enjoying our drinks. A pleasant interlude on our trip.”
