They are not required to wash their hands or put gloves on after handling money. I was told they don't even have gloves on the premises and they are not made to wash their hands after handling money because they are too busy. i.can understand getting a beverage that you just touch the cup. They lady tonight had my peeled banana in her hand to slice it before putting it on my banana split! She has not washed her hands on put on gloves after handling our money. what else had she touched before we came to the window.

Great place. Old school feel. I have 4 stars (for now) because out of the onion rings and breaded pork loin I had, the fork loin tasted plane with no taste. The onion rings and everything else was great. Il be trying this place again with something different and then I'll update my review accordingly.
UPDATE.... 9/12/2024 - We ordered again from here. This time I got a double bacon cheese burger and onion rings. The food was excellent. Will definitely be going back again.

We stopped for the first time today and decided to get some lunch. It was really good! We ordered some chicken tenders and fries for the kids wife got a burger and onion rings and I got the tenderloin and onion rings. Couldn't beat the cost was just under 40$. Staff was friendly and took care of everyone pretty quick. We decided to eat in the back at the picnic tables but they do offer inside dining wich is nice. All in all was a great experience and forsure will be returning. Also if you do go it is CASH ONLY.
Parking: They had parking on both sides of the building.
Kid-friendliness: They had plenty of options for kids to eat... the standard hot dog chicken tenders stuff like that on top of all the ice cream they could want.
Take a jacket, it's cold inside! Food was great and service was a smudge slow. Staff was very friendly. Great sandwich and ice cream shop. We ate in the car, but we'll go back again.
