“Donuts were super yummy but the star of the show for us was the coffee! Holy cow, they have the best coffee! We just finished our cups and already want more. We are from northern Indiana but we will go back every time we visit our daughter and SIL in Cambridge City from now on.Parking: Restaurant is attached to a gas station so fill up your car and yourself with one stop!”

“My family and I had my son’s 5th birthday party here before we headed to the Golay Center. I cannot speak highly enough about the staff!!! WOW! The staff were so incredibly kind and welcoming. They had hot cookies ready for us when we arrived, the food came out quick and was brought to our table. A couple of the employees even gave our birthday boy a special gift each. I wish I would have gotten all the names of the employees who helped make our day memorable. To all on staff from 2pm-3pm on February 17, you all deserve all the praise!! My son has talked all day about how special his day has been thanks to the effort the staff put into making this day memorable. Great job making my son feel so special on his big day. This will be a birthday to remember :) Thank you all so much!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly! Staff is very attentive and welcoming to children and go above a beyond for birthday parties.”

“Home style offerings, including specials, were affordable and, in our experience, very tasty. The ham & potato with green beans special was not only ample, filling, and tasty but served promptly. Chicken salad sandwich with, excellent, French fries was likewise. The blackberry cobbler, warmed with vanilla ice cream dessert was most noteworthy. The other dessert offerings of pies, cakes, and other fruit cobblers makes a return visit mandatory.”

“Every now and then I get a real hard craving for their biscuits and gravy. Love the fact they make the gravy from scratch and they actually put enough sausage in it that I have no problem calling it sausage gravy. Most places I've gone to call theirs sausage gravy but I have a hard time finding enough sausage in it to satisfy my tongue. “Typical dinner style restaurant, building has a few flaws, but doesn't take away from service or food. Food was good, portion was a decent size and a fair price. Far better breakfast experience here than the large commercial competitors with the brand new building down the street. Would recommend to anyone wanting a old fashioned dining experience, or just some good food at a fair price.”

“My lovely wife & I stopped at Dairy twist, and after living out of state for awhile, we forgot they were cash only; Well we were going to find the nearest atm, when a young gal named Kaitlyn Neuman, who was working hard as all get out said, " don't worry about it, I'll cover you guys on this one."She did not have to do that, but she did it out of the kindness of her heart.. Meant the world to us, and it came effortliss to her; this act of kindness. We are going to bring the cash to pay for it, but we had to leave this young lady a good review bc she made our evening.”

“They have subway beat by far! The food portions are almost double with a similar price. But the flavor bursting with every bite is out of this world. I ordered the fajita chicken but the lady serving me put my portion of chicken into a broth while she was getting the rest of my sandwich together. This is where all the flavor came from. I can't express how enjoyable this food was. I also should tell you the staff there is also great. Very friendly and available without making you feel rushed.if you haven't gotten a chance to eat here you have to give it a try. Go now your taste buds and belly will thank you!”

“great food and the staff were nice people. i like how they have the kitchen open so that customers can see inside. it shows they have nothing to hide and they show people that they use canned soda. i think more people should go there. it was my first time going and my family were the only people in there. this place deserves as much love as the more famous restaurants like burger king and mcdonalds”

“Used Google Map with the keyword restaurants, this place showed up. When we got there, we were surprised it was a bar. We proceeded to order. The friendly "waitress(or barmaid?)" took an order. We ordered the smoked pork chop and Atlantic cod. The food took a while and the waitress apologized for that. The salad was good, smoked pork chop was excellent. The cod was good, but there were lots of grease on the plate. If the chef rested the cod on a rack (due to shortage of people the chef had to cut corner a little I guess), it would have been perfect.As long as you are legal to drink (not exactly sure if this place is considered a restaurant or bar), I would recommend. I'd certainly don't mind going back to try other food.”
