Cute little coffee shop inside an ice cream shop, SubZero. My friend and I walked by and thought to grab a delicious warm coffee while we strolled down the Monon. Surprised they had a pistachio mocha w almond milk! It was on their special drinks menu and I was thrilled to have it. The cashier was kind and patient while I looked over the menu and changed my order so I could grab the special coffee! It was nice to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee while walking the Monon and enjoying a friends company.

very surprised to find a coffee shop sharing the space with sub zero. i got a vanilla matcha latte. it was delicious if a bit on the sweet side. baristas were quick and friendly. would come back!

Ok was not expecting this place to be inside the subzero ice cream place. It definitely feels like the coffee bar is just inside the ice cream parlor (subzero). Do NOT get the "real fruit" smoothie. Super fake by-product sugar and fruit puree mixed in ice.

Literally the best chai I’ve ever had! I normally get the spiced chai with oat milk and it is amazing. Their dirty hippie is also really good! The staff is also so kind and they make you feel welcomed. There’s a young man that usually takes my order and now has it memorized that is just awesome.(feel bad I can’t remember his name). Definitely one of carmels best kept secret!

This is a great place and located inside Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream! They have a full-service coffee bar that also offers Lotus Clean Energy Drinks and food items to include an amazing burrito!! They do offer free WIFI and have plenty of seating room. There vibe is an ice cream and coffee feel, but my coffee always taste the same...which is amazing...regardless, if it is a coffee vibe or ice cream and coffee vibe! If you haven't tried them, they serve Jillian's Coffee Roasters coffee out of Zionsville! Love this place!!

Not a real coffee shop...it's a Sub-Zero ice cream shop. Don't think it's anything else. For coffee and real Italian bakery items drive further west on Main Street to Stacco house. The 1832 name was so disappointing since Carmel Coffee company closed early this year

Rode our bikes to this coffee shop one Saturday morning. It's located inside the Sub Zero ice cream shop. The coffee was good and really enjoyed the lemon muffin but not much of a coffee cafe feel. There are a few other places in close proximity to this place. If you just looking to grab a cup, this is fine. If your looking for more a cafe style with ambiance then this isn't that type of place.

As a non-American, it is important that you get a nice strong cup of coffee. We always ask how many shots go into a coffee. At this coffee shop there is only 1 shot in a 12oz coffee. That is very little. The coffee here is very tasty, but I needed 3 shots in a 12oz cup.

Decided to stop in after visiting another coffee shop in the area and was not fully satisfied by their drinks, here at 1832 they had the flavours we were looking for in our drinks and were delicious. The customer service was very pleasant and friendly/attentive. Business is shared with ice cream place so upon ordering there are two areas(ice cream order side and coffee side). When crowded at counter it is very hard to differentiate lines/order station between the both but thankfully we were guided by employees after standing in long line for ice cream. Only thing I was bummed by is that they do no offer a blended coffee drink option (only hot or iced), delicious nonetheless. Seating options available indoor or outside on covered/uncovered patios. Parking behind building or on side available. Try 1832 Brew Espresso bar out!

A little bit off the Monon Trail, it can be a great stop on a morning walk or ride. It was a bit challenging to find at first as it is in the same building as Sun-Zero. I ordered an iced coffee and it was good. They had a table and chairs outside, so we sat outside to enjoy the beverages. There was one employee working and he was friendly. Something else to note is there are no restrooms inside which can be a bit of an inconvenience.
