Carmel needs to get in the market of rooftop bars because 3UP has it all figured out. High quality appetizers, endless drink options, and live music all outside! The vibes are immaculate. Wait staff is slow but that’s only because it’s so jam-packed!
We went for the first time on a saturday night, which was yesterday. I can say that the food was good and the drinks too, sadly it took forever to be served. Every time we wanted to order new drinks, we had to wait for the waitress who disappeared, which I'm guessing to serve other people. It was so crowded, and people were super loud that I couldn't hear the music at all as we sat on the table adjacent to the bar inside. They should probably install an additional speaker for sure. Also I couldn't take pictures for the space since all that you see is people. Then we moved outside as some chairs became available. It was better, yet the Dj was done, so we missed the live show. I don't think that I would visit again on weekends, I might try on some other days.

Do not go here if you aren’t willing to potentially lose your items. I was there until close on a Thursday night. Since everyone was there late, we were slightly ushered out. In that process I left my wallet and a couple other of my belongings. Luckily I had befriended my server earlier in the night and had gotten their contact information. Immediately after leaving post closing time I tried to return up the elevator with no luck, then messaged my server about my items. They responded, assuring me they would be there with a note for me the next day. I arrived at opening at 5pm on Friday the evening after to find that some of my items were missing. Meaning management or their own employees stole them. Entirely unprofessional and will not be recommending or returning.

My experience would have been better had their “policy” for guests been explained upon entry.
We had a party of 4 and ordered our drinks and food. After doing this the waitress asked for a card to put on file, reluctant I gave her a card. This seemed very odd for a sit down meal. After doing this she left, and then my phone went off showing a charge for the full tab of the party.
Of course I was taken back by this and then a manager showed up out of nowhere to explain what happened… I didn’t say anything about it to a server or anyone, also strange. This made me feel this was not a universal practice for all guests due to the amount of apologizing that followed.
I know that I’m not the only person that feels this way when this happens. No ok, transparency in procedures with customers should always be at the forefront.

The restaurant boasted a wonderful atmosphere, but I was disappointed to find fries on the floor by the elevator, suggesting a need for better cleaning. Additionally, the cocktails could use some improvement.

This is a quant indoor/outdoor rooftop lounge with a relaxed vibe. They serve some of the trendiest cocktails. The food here was pretty good. Try the garlic parm wings and charcuterie boards. 3up would be a nice place to host your upcoming event/party (Bachelorette or bachelor party, birthday party). They can accommodate. Between 10 and 150 people. Try the wings, black Manhattan, and the Frites. 3up opens at 5pm Tip.. get there early to get a good spot, but remember the elevator is programmed automatically to allow you access to the 3rd floor at 5 pm, so no getting up there until 5 pm. 3up has an awesome view, and it's right by the monon, so you can people watch as you sip on a bubble.

Cute, trendy rooftop bar with live music on the weekends. Waitress very attentive and refilled my soda without me having to ask. Go for the drinks and the vibe. Food wasn’t impressive. My friend got the Mediterranean bowl and the rice was undercooked; chicken tacos and flatbread were not flavorful.
