Very disappointing we had chicken fajitas which can be described as one step above Taco Bell. Food arrived quickly but not in a good way. The chicken was precooked like Tyson's Chicken strips and over chard. The the jalapeno Ranch dip was good but nothing authentic no chunks of jalapenos just some powdered mix.

I have given this place more chances than it deserves. Good chips, salsa and margaritas but service is always bad and food is just passable. Last night waited an hour and half for our food order for 2 kids and 2 adults. Had to take it to go when it finally came out.

The Queso and Green Chile Fried Chicken were soooo good! It used to be called Elvis Fried Green Chile Chicken I believe. They put it back on the menu and I am loving it! Same great taste! Service was excellent..server was polite and efficient. Laid back atmosphere..sat in a cozy booth. I will be back! Thanks for the Great Dinner Experience!

Pretty disappointing. I'd been wanting to try Chuy's as I enjoy TexMex occasionally. The food was fine, but only just fine. The service was truly horrible. Among the worst I've experienced, frankly. Slow as can be. Never checked on us. Drinks never refilled, and my drink was wrong anyway. To leave, I had to go to the bar to find a person to help us get the server's attention for the check. There wasn't really anything about Chuy's that would bring me back.

Food wasn’t that great, they took forever to bring the food and when it arrived guacamole was turning brown, not much point to discuss or send it back to wait for another 30 minutes… Chips were ok i guess but far from great, salsa was a bit watery.
Now, the service… I can’t say it was awful, but it wasn’t welcoming nor very friendly, it took what it seemed to be an eternity for the food to arrive, so not really winning in that front either…
So, in conclusion… Average food, poor service and to top it off, out of decency I left 10% for gratuity and they took the liberty (abuse) to turn it into 20%, so NOT recommended at all, I can’t wait to never go back there ever again…

The server was always missing in action. We had to wait to request a refill and check cause of the lousy server. Even though the restaurant was empty. The food was not worth the cost, I’ve had better food with a lot better service. It was Our first and last time going to Chuy.
