7 Best Delis near Carmel

“I go to the Kroger deli for lunch at least 1 time per week. I usually get the Tenders meal. You get 2 giant tenders, and choice of 2 sides and a roll or biscuit. I had mashed potatoes and green beans as my sides. Today I realized I never reviewed one of the best lunch spots in the downtown Carmel area. For $5 you get this really big meal that in most cases is too large to finish. Great quality on the chicken and the sides. They also have pizza and burgers, ribs, brisket, and a slew of other things. In addition to the good food, the employees in the deli are always friendly and the place is clean. I usually take the lunch back to my office, but they also have an eating area that is once again open after the Covid-19 mess. It is also quick. In and Out. There's a separate entrance to the Deli area so you can park and go straight to the deli. There's also a self checkout near the deli entrance/exit so you do not have to get into line in the regular part of the store. Highly recommend!!“

The lady helping us was so friendly, showing us some great candy recommendations which we took home with us.

The best part was they had a chocolate bar we have only seen in a video game! A silly reason but awesome! (Game: Escape from Tarkov)“

“What an adorable hidden gem! I have lived in the neighborhood for years and just discovered this place. While waiting for my to go order today, an employee took the time to chat with me, only to find out he was the owner! Such a sweetheart and so personable. Think Panera-esque fast casual but with so much character and better ingredients. The to-go section was incredible! Bakery items, coffee, and a fantastic breakfast and lunch section. I already can’t wait to go back.“

“The reason I went to this place, our company was invited to a clients appreciation event by a realtor. The spot that the organizers were assigned was half of the restaurant. Although there was a huge turnout, especially on a day when Chicago cubs are playing, the guests with small children were reasonably comfortable. The host and servers were very attentive. I wish I remember their names! Awesome team! Someone is in-charge of going back and forth to make sure the food was well-replenished. I was part of the organizer and they were very pleasant and helped me every step of the way. Apart from their awesome customer service, their food was excellent. Their briskets, pork and beef, are tender, juicy, and delicious. Chicago hotdog lived up to its expectations. It was one of the most replenished dish. Will surely visit again as a guest. If you love good food, great customer service and expect a full ensemble of boisterous atmosphere, this is the place for you.“
