The man running the place (Jeff)is really cool and down to earth, my server Chloe F was on top of everything a server is responsible for, not only was she really fast at making sure the drinks was refilled she also picked what meal I got and it was delicious. Thank you for your service and hospitality Chloe

Ok food. Service somewhat slow and distant. Maybe they were having a bad night...

I come here with family if not twice but at least once a week. Right down the monon trail. Owner/manager is great, very hands on. Staff knows us already and is always so welcoming. I love being here, it’s like a second home.

We walked-in for lunch today and it was a very pleasant surprise. Our table was spacious and we were promptly served. Crayons, kids menu and an activity sheet was already on the table for my niece, who was with us. Beer was great, food was very well prepared. My husband had the grilled oysters and I had the ahi tuna salad. My sister had the salmon entree and my brother in law had the buffalo wings burger. All very well prepared, delicious. Checks were correct and we had a great, relaxing time. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Amazing, one of our favorites Everytime. Kids love it, we love it, staff so friendly food is delicious and reasonable. Oysters + weekly specials keep the menu interesting for us frequent visitors. Full selection of beers and full bar. 11 TVs for your game, patio right at midtown plaza. Can't say enough good stuff about Fork & Ale.

We celebrated a family birthday over dinner, and Carla took great care of us. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and gracious with her recommendations, and she was quite personable and friendly. We’ll be back for sure!

We literally didn't eat any of the spider roll even tho we order it all the time from other restaurants. My gf spit it out and I ate one roll and didn't like it. Also the ginger dressing salad was mediocre usually we love the side salads from Japanese restaurants. The crab ragoon was good! They didn't take the roll off the bill so we still paid 23 bucks for a bad roll. Also very weak wasabi. I used all they gave me and it still wasn't very spicy. I would not spend the money to come here. One bite honestly gave me an upset stomach (now ten minutes later)

Beer is far better than food

Jeff and his staff have turned this place around. For the fellow glutinites, great sandwiches with their gluten free bun.

We had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant. The food was not only well-prepared but also absolutely delicious. The servers were both professional and friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Overall, it was a truly enjoyable experience, and we look forward to returning!

Phenomenal! My brother had his wedding rehearsal dinner here, and every single dish was mind-blowing. The shrimp appetizer was the crispiest, juiciest shrimp I've ever had, the steak was absolutely the most tender too. Beers were also unique and fun. And it was all so cheap too!! I had to ask the price because I was worried they spent a fortune for such great food, but the per person price made me jealous I didn't use this place for my wedding.

Sydney was great! Some of the food wasn't done all the way. They made new, took it off of our bill, and gave us free dessert for the hassle. We love the food and atmosphere here.

The new owner Jeff and his staff have taken this to a new level! If you haven’t been in a while you need to go! The food is fantastic and there’s something for everyone!

This is my favorite place to eat in Carmel. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great and the service is excellent. The menu has something for everyone, and my personal favorite, chicken and fries, is the best around. The only negative is it does get full, so sometimes you can't get a seat, but being so popular they fill up is hardly a bad thing. Highly recommended.
