We had a nice time at Hino Oishi. The food was great as was the presentation during cooking. The chef did a great job of spraying water on the kids and missing the adults. That was hilarious. I did feel a bit rushed to get out the door when they were done but I do understand they need to turn over the table. A second glass wine would have been nice with dinner but the only person to come around the table offered us to-go boxes so we got the message to move on. I will definitely be back because the food was very good and the price was good too.

Fun, busy atmosphere. The steak and chicken hibachi were EXCELLENT! The staff all tried so hard to take good care of us and were very friendly too. The only reason for the 4 stars was the very grimy and sticky yet slippery floor. I'd imagine that it's very difficult to keep it clean in an hibachi place, but it is still hard to walk on and a bit gross. We will go back though. Great prices for a ton of very good food served by lovely people.

Went here for my birthday, ordered hibachi dinner filet and chicken- ordered steak medium rare, my other family got well done(and are fine) I came home and vomited all night long with severe food poisoning. Thanks for ruining my birthday with some raw steak. Next time if I go back it is well done!!!!! I haven’t felt this terrible in a long long time.

Ordered the tuna tataki and negimaki for lunch and both were delicious takes on fairly standard offerings at Japanese restaurants. Definitely will return to try other menu items as the restaurant mostly appears to be setup around teppanyaki.

Short version: I'm frustrated with the service, but the food made it worth it.
Long Version: A table that was seated long after us, was done eating before our chef appeared.
Apparently the other table had preordered before being sat, so their order was in before we had sat down. So it's not as bad as it seems but can be very frustrating at the time.
Also, the chef misjudged his portions, so by the time he got to my side of the table he was out of vegetables. He literally ran out.
Now that that's out of the way, despite my long rant, I WILL be back. The rice was so delicious, I'd accidentally finished it before my scallops, or shrimp was cooked.... That's never happened before.
The people were swift, professional, and nice.

Had an excellent experience here with my friend. We ordered sushi and the hibatchi lunch special (that comes with a small roll and soup/salad). Great amount of food for your dollar, and everything tasted great! The wait staff was also amazing, being quick on taking plates and filling drinks. Highly recommend!
If I could write this restaurant 6 stars, I would do so. The food was excellent, as was the service. The wait staff was courteous, alert and quick. They try to accommodate large groups as well as small ones as best they can. The hibachi grill was delicious, as was the tempura, sushi, and fried squid. I would definitely visit this over and again.

I absolutely love the food at Hino Oishi Hibachi! The flavors are incredible, and the quality is consistently excellent. However, the one drawback is their outdated reservation system. In the 21st century, almost everything is online, but here, you have to call in to add your name to the waiting list. It would be so much more convenient if they allowed online reservations or a digital waiting list. The experience would be perfect with this small but important improvement. Still, the food makes it worth the effort!
