Unusual selections, fun atmosphere, healthy choices!
Best coffee in the city, maybe Midwest. Always great service and great kindness.
I love their coffee and their snacks were delicious their sandwiches were not half-bad either
This is such a classy Cafe in my favorite part of town. The service is great, prices are good. I love getting a cappuccino here!
So much better than Starbucks! We love a good small batch medium roast coffee and this place has some of the best. They also have great unique seasonal drinks.
H&C got introduced to me by my aunt and uncle. two people who love coffee and great coffee at that..they took me to H&C and from that day forward Starbucks just wasnt it for me! Looking forward to maybe one day Hubbard & Cravens will become a nationwide bistro bc everyone could use a little bit of Excellence to start their day off!
Boring, uninspired, slow, & the only game in town
Located in an easily walkable area with easy access to large parking garage. Close to ChrisKingle Mart. Wide variety of drinks, coffee, beer, wine and tea. Great snacks as well. Flatbreads were god. Great place to meet a friend.
My experience at Hubbard and Cravens in Carmel this afternoon was appalling. For a busy Saturday afternoon during the Thanksgiving holiday, the store was only staffed with two people. I would have had more patience with the slow service; however, both employees seemed unconcerned with hustling to get through orders and appeared incompetent with where items were located behind the counter. After ordering my tea, I waited for over 15 minutes and never did receive my drink. The employee working the register continued to ring up orders behind me without stopping to fulfill my order. Additionally, while watching the employees prepare orders, one of the employees coughed into his hand, doubled up two cups for a drink, and pressed down on the rim with his freshly coughed on hand. It was grossly unsanitary. The other customers waiting for their drinks also seemed irritated at the wait time. When trying to find a table in the seating area while waiting for my drink, I noticed that all the empty tables had not been cleaned off and had cups and coffee pots on them. After wearing out my patience to receive what is, essentially, hot water with a tea bag, I left without getting my drink after having paid for it. I won't be returning to this location again. After leaving, I went out of my way to go to another coffee shop that I know can handle customers well. For a business that does well in its Broad Ripple location, this location in Carmel is a complete insult.
Great drink selection. Quiet grinders. Seems like the kind of place to get some work done.

I stopped in to purchase my favorite tea - Raspberry Hibiscus. The 2 employees, especially the blonde girl, at the register quickly shot dirty looks my way. I have never felt so judged by walking into a shop in my life. I was considering purchasing some coffee for family and friends for Christmas who don’t live in the Indy area. I asked politely if they had any other coffees than what was near the register, which was all decaf - the blonde pointed and said “there’s some over
The coffee is excellent, but the service is hit and miss. Sometimes I have great experiences, but other times, my order has been forgotten or I've just waited forever for a drink... It's a shame because I really like this place, and I think the quiche is some of the most delicious I've ever eaten.
Today was my first time visiting. A sign at the Host stand said to see someone at the front for seating. I stood in line for what turned out to be those just waiting for their to-go coffee orders. You can't see the check out register that I was apparently supposed to go to from the door or the stand. After a few minutes, the person that took my order arrived behind the counter and asked what I wanted, acting like she didn't want to be there. I asked if I could sit and eat and she told me that I had to order at the counter. This required tipping before "service" was even given.
This is technically a restaurant with a takeout coffee shop. However not very functional as a restaurant. We had to ask the coffee bar and they said they'd bring us menus. They helped other customers at the bar before bringing menus and service was incredibly slow considering it was mostly coffee to go customers. Food was okay, mochas were good, but definitely will not be back.
We love coming here we're coming in 1-2 times weekly if not more. Now there customer service is terrible. If you do not get one of the employees that have been there for awhile may as well walk out. Today I ordered coffee with no one in front of me stood there for 10 minutes waiting for it before saying something because everyone was just doing there own thing. When i asked for my coffee or a refund it was like the end of the world that I wanted something I paid for. Hopefully this is fixed or you will be losing money.
