The coffee, service, and food are all fine at Indie coffee roasters. The biggest short fall is that there is I sufficient space to sit down. Many use the space for office work and stay for extended time periods.

Sweet employees, coffee is fine to bad. I ordered a caramel and vanilla iced latte, the first taste I had was burnt espresso. The drink was not mixed together and it seemed that the espresso was sitting on top of the milk and ice, likely causing the burnt taste. The latte being made incorrectly gave it this bad taste and it was also sad that the caramel and vanilla taste was a whisper. Prufrock is better

Delightful little coffee shop. Simple. Clean. Wonderful workspace. If you don't need a complicated menu and want a safe quiet space to get some things done... check it out. The Chai latte specifically was delicious!

The 3 star are because the coffe taste too bitter for what I like. The place look very nice and the staff is very kind.
It was a nice gesture to have a little glass of water with my coffee.
The cappuccino also tasted pretty bad and we couldn’t finish it.
Maybe it is their special flavor and it just doesn’t fit my taste.
Another thing that was a bit disappointing is that there was almost no choice for a brioche 🥐. There was a little tray with few pastry and not very inviting.
Maybe because I am italian, but when I go in a coffee shop for breakfast I love to find a great selection of brioche!

I had an absolutely wholesome experience this morning. 3 guys behind the counter were so kind and friendly. They made us delicious coffee and asked us about our morning. We were making a coffee run for a family member who is having a baby and those employees celebrated with us. It just made our morning so much better and exciting!

The coffee here is good but crazy over priced for what you get. The lattes are small and will cost you around $7. The atmosphere is great for studying but definitely not the place to meet friends and chat. It’s quiet and sterile. The staff is always nice and provides great costumer service but the high prices and lack of food options are disappointing. Not awful but definitely not the best place for coffee is carmel. There aren’t a ton of coffee options in Carmel but I would go to Bovaconti any day over indie coffee roasters.

I hate to leave such a bad review. We only tried this place b/c the line at Bovaconti was too long. Should’ve read reviews first before ordering, b/c the cold brew my boyfriend got really was god awful, probably go as far to say it’s the worst we’ve ever had. Tasted like battery acid. My chai latte was nice. Still, no desire to go back.
