The outside seating area is pretty but the food just does not taste like real Jamaican food. I ordered the curry chicken And it tasted like pure pepper. I was upset at this so called plaintain.(pic) dry,smashed, and hard.

This place is closed... no info on website just a note on the door saying they will reopen at a new location at sometime in future. So we made plans to go here and then found it closed. Update your website!

This place has been on my list for a while I was in the area so decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint. I opted for the j*** sandwich and a side of plantains. The sandwich had plantains in it which was a nice but surprisingly delicious. The plantains were cooked to perfection. Service was fantastic. They have a really cute outdoor patio where you can sit eat and people watch.

This restaurant is THE best place in town to get Jamaican food. Their j*** chicken meal is my favorite. It comes with plantains, rice and beans, and vegetables on the side and the portions are VERY generous and filling. Their beef patty is delicious as well. However, they are serious about spice in their food so if you don't like anything more than mild-medium spice, this place may not be for you.
We are from the Caribbean and loved their food! We (essentially) had one of everything on the menu and it was all amazing! Would highly recommend this hidden gem!

Probably the best Jamaican food in Carmel. I got the boneless j*** chicken meal... chicken is perfect without the j*** sauce, perfect amount of seasoning (might be to peppery/spicy to others) I'm Honduran girl I grew up eating platano maduro and Jamaican reggae took the cake on this one. I only had takeout but they have a beautiful outside area to eat for people who like to enjoy the weather. 1st time and I'm already impressed, cant wait to come back & enjoy more of their options!!

This place is legit. The best j*** sauce that you'll find in Indianapolis. They sell frozen patties, which make a great quick weekday lunch. Aside from the patties, I've only ordered the j*** chicken. I always plan to try something else but the j*** chicken is so good I keep ordering the same thing! There's an outdoor space and some seating indoors. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

This place is incredible. So many good hearty options. The fried plantains are my favorite. I love that they have non-spicy options too. Service is super speedy, always less than 5 minutes before you get your food. Paying is very easy too. Cool drink options as well. Great screened in outdoor area. Great place for a lunch break or to have a meeting.
