Went to 2 locations; Washington St yesterday and New York St. today. Hands down the best Americano I’ve had from a coffee shop. I get it hot and plain, and the flavor is smooth and amazing. Purchased their boxed concentrate today. Both locations had 3 staff member, all of whom were friendly and conversational. And if you like baked goods, the cappuccino muffin was the best muffin ever, I wish I could replicate the taste and texture at home!!

While I can certainly understand wanting to take a more creative approach to coffee, making all drinks with cold brew simply does not work. We ordered two hot, flavored lattes and they tasted like watered down coffee. In fact, mine was so terrible that I threw it away before finishing even half of it.

This is the second time we’ve been here and have been very disappointed in the taste of their drinks. I had hoped that the first time was a fluke, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. We will not be returning.

Ordered a latte and got served essentially sugar milk. Why call it a latte if you don’t serve espresso? Genuinely one of the worst coffees I’ve ever had

Very fast and delicious.
Got the workaholic and the whipped cream and flavors were delicious. Curious about how they make cold brew coffee hot, but it was amazing.
Kind of expensive, but not bad for the quality ($6 for special drinks).

I'm a Vietnam Veteran visitor to Java House. I ordered a regular coffee and blueberry scone. I was given them for being a Veteran. First time for me anywhere. Thank you.

Was not greeted when we came in. Felt uncomfortable immediately. No responses to a single thank you given to staff. Latte tasted like it had no coffee in it.
Completely different experience than the ones we have had at the fishers location. Service and coffee in fishers is wonderful, not so much here.

Fun place! Fantastic coffee, good food, and an energizing environment. The outside area around the coffee shop is wonderful to take a walk, visit other businesses, or let kids play at the nearby park/playground.

Do not go to North Liberty Java House. Today at 1:30 PM I ordered a Cappuccino. When I received my drink, it was only one third full. I asked the Barista if he would pay almost $5.00 for a drink that was only one third full. His sarcastic, snide comment was that "he did not drink coffee." That had nothing to do with the undersized drink. So he went back and added something (?) to the drink and I left. When I was in the car I realized that my drink was still only half full and it was terrible. It tasted like the bottom of a two day old pot of coffee, strong, bitter and undrinkable and I mean truly undrinkable. Had I tasted it inside, no doubt I would have spit it out. I had had enough of this rather large, unpleasant person so I did not bother to go back and complain. Java House got me once but they will never get me again, I will never go to another Java House as long as I live.
