Update: I came here again and this time got the #9 sandwich. It’s turkey with goat cheese on a perfectly toasted, buttered roll. It was delicious! I would definitely get this again.I ordered the Italian beef sandwich. It was good, but not great. The sandwich itself could have used some garlic aioli or something to give the meat some flavor. I would come back to try a different sandwich.I liked the shop, and prices on some items seemed pretty reasonable.

This is a butcher shop worth the drive to Carmel. Additionally, there is a great deli sandwich shop attached. Ranks with the other great butcher shop, Claus' in Indy .

I'm not one to typically leave reviews, but Joe's is worth it! Their BLT sandwich is life changing, and their salmon patties with red pepper aioli are a close second. I visit here weekly and it never disappoints!

Went into Joe's today for meat. The gal serving me weighed the meat. Wrapped the meat then weighed it again to produce the label. Bad practice. I thought the cost of the paper products was already included in the cost of the meat. Silly me! Sadly I'll go back!

Everything I’ve had from Joe’s has been excellent. The carry out sandwiches are the best I’ve had in the city (especially the scallop po boy, cuban sandwich, and banh mi). I also love getting fresh pasta and the quality of meat is amazing. 100% recommend!

A great meat and meat accessory location, set up like butcher shops of old but much cleaner. We grabbed deli sandwiches including a flank steak sandwich with extra meat. All fresh ingredients from a friendly professional server and comfortable seating. I am looking forward to grabbing some items from the meat market to take home in the future.
We had a great experience! The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We came for lunch. I got the Italian beef sandwich and it was very good and definitely had a kick! The others with me got the braised beef sandwich and the roast beef and cheddar and they also loved theirs. There was plenty of seating which was nice. When we left, we got some steaks, bacon, and chicken to take home to cook.

We knew about buying food at Joe's but didn't know until recently that they also offer sandwiches. A friend recommended their bah mi so off we went. The sandwich offering is extensive. The man behind the counter was very helpful and pointed out some of the favorites. I was torn as the flank steak sandwich and the chicken tortq sounded good but I stuck with the bah mi. You order and then sit down if you aren't doing takeout and they will bring the food to you. Ah... nice soft roll, the pork belly was perfectly crisp and delicious as was the sauce. My only issue was that it was a bit greasy. It was also huge. Since we all got bah mi sandwiches, we decided next time to get two different sandwiches and split them to share. The macaroni salad side was good. The Mexican corn salad was disappointing and tasted as if the corn had been over cooked- it was hard. Overall a good experience and we will be back soon to try some other sandwiches and to wander around and check out all their fun products and meats and fishes.

Wonderful products & wonderful people. Carmel is lucky to have such a great local butchershop that sources well, makes the process to order & pickup easy, and has a team that's always pleasant to work with. Especially enjoy their beef & fish selections, but everything has always been really great.
