Excellent ambiance, very friendly service and some of the best sushi I've personally ever had! We had the agedashe tofu appetizer followed by the crunchy tuna roll, volcano roll and sumo roll with a side of tuna and salmon sashimi. Everything was phenomenal!! Great food at very reasonable prices. You won't be disappointed!

Not only is this the best Japanese cuisine around, we feel that it's one of the best go-to restaurants in Carmel. The food is excellent quality and in generous portions. The service is prompt and friendly. And best of all, the atmosphere is cozy and calm.

I’ve tried countless ramen restaurants across various cities and this place has been my favorite to date. The food was fresh and perfectly cooked with excellent flavors. The staff was so friendly and attentive. 10/10 would recommend. Only negative is I live in another state and can’t have this all the time!

We decided to try this place since we were in the area, and Kotoyama Ramen in Noblesville is one of our favorites. Same delicious food with some new options! The mocktail fruit cocktails are absolutely delicious, and sushi was a nice option. Service was fast and everyone was very friendly! However, the bathrooms could have used a thorough clean and the atmosphere was a little lacking compared to Noblesville.Great food though!

I got take out for the first time today, and the process was super easy, and the food was absolutely delicious! I only tried the char siu and chicken buns today, but they were delicious! I’ll definitely be back to try the ramen. I’d highly recommend!

It started with a gift certificate from my wife. Her friend LOVES this restaurant, and my wife knows I love sushi. I stopped in for lunch and had excellent service as Rama walked me through the menu and shared some of the favorites from their clients. She was an excellent ambassador for Kotoyama, and I soon found the options I wanted to try. I chose the Kani salad with crab, spicy sauce, and thinly sliced cucumber, a spicy crunch salmon roll, and the Impossible Roll.Everything I had was well prepared and presented. The food tasted fantastic, and Rama's service was exceptional. Now I understand why my wife's friend loves and frequents this place. I will be back, and I can't wait until next time!

Authentic Japanese ramen at reasonable prices tucked in a Carmel strip mall. Very cute vibe inside and fast service. I enjoyed the shrimp tempura ramen and the chicken karaage. Shareable portions and great value!

From grabbing a cup of Coffee Bubble tea and enjoying some mouthwatering ramen, this joint gives off a cozy, hole-in-the-wall vibe with amazing food.

Picture this: it's Friday night and it's freezing outside with a high of 18 degrees. You don't want to leave the house but suddenly someone says "Sushi sounds so good" and your stomach starts to grumble at the thought. Sushi is worth the cold drive! Especially from Kotoyama in Carmel. We easily found the "Order Online" feature on their website and ordered some California rolls, a Philadelphia roll, Indy Roll, and Vegas Roll for pickup. Ordering was easy to understand and quick. We even got an estimated time it would be done and text when it was ready. When we arrived, the restaurant was warm and inviting once inside. We were greeted by a very friendly female employee who checked to verify our order was accurate and wished us a safe drive home. Our food was packed well, fresh, and oh so yummy! I would highly recommend the Indy & Vegas roll to anyone who likes fried rolls. So good- here's to hoping someone recommends sushi for dinner at our home again soon!

LOVE this place! Service is quick. Everything is made fresh. The Ramen is amazing. I could eat it every week. My favorite Ramen to get has been the Teriyaki Chicken. If I'm feeling extra hungry, their sushi is a great starter. Plenty of seating is available inside.shah
