Le Petit Gateau has the most delicious baked goods. The smell of deliciousness hits you over the head the minute you walk in thebuilding. Their croissants are spectacular! Just finished a ham and cheese croissant very reasonable priced at $5.50. Service is efficient and friendly. I highly recommend this place. And even better, it shares a space with Indie Coffee Roasters - quite arguably the best coffee in Carmel!

Extremely upset because I am only in Indy/Carmel for a week and I won't be able to come to this incredible bakery when I go back home. This place is a must.

Best croissants in Indy. Impeccable customer service.

The croissant was flakey and flavorful. The tiramisu was the worst I've ever eaten. I can taste the sugar but not the coffee. The macarpone wasn't right. There is a bottom layer of cake. I ate half of the tiramisu. Not worth the calories.

Tried Almond Croissant from Le Petit Gateau after a great deal of recommendation from a friend, I would say it’s totally worth the hype.
It’s flakey, fresh and perfectly sweet and well paired with a cup of coffee.
Also, tried their crème brulle croissant too, the custard was so mild and tasted perfect. I would definitely go back to other the other items.☺️

I often enjoy fabulous pastries while sipping coffee here, but I felt compelled to review after purchasing a cake. It is a gorgeous cake, decorated beautifully. The flavor was fantastic, as was the texture. I got vanilla cake with strawberry jam and Italian buttercream frosting. It was perfect in every way and absolutely worth the price.

The ham and cheese croissant, traditional and chocolate croissants were excellent. Everything is made in sight and you should definitely eat here regularly.
Their tiramisu is, quite simply, beyond words — rich, delicate, and absolutely unforgettable. We usually stop by just for that, it’s become a little tradition. I also like to grab a few croissants to take home — the raspberry cheesecake danish is a favorite, and this time we tried the crème brûlée croissant (and wow, what a treat).
I was eager to check this place
out. Signage isn’t great-it’s accessible via the residential main entrance. The case isn’t huge, but I tried the cinnamon roll croissant, almond croissant, a hazelnut chocolate mousse thing, and a blueberry mousse thing, with yuzu gele and a honey brittle. All very good! There’s a coffee shop, too. Nice interior and outdoor lounge space.
Pastries are very delicious! However they do not respect the shmear on the bagels. A very disappointing amount of cream cheese is used, even when you ask for extra cream cheese. Ya gotta respect the shmear!
Couldn't find the store!
