Our meal was amazing and perfectly prepared. Rebekah our server provided excellent service and great knowledge of the menu. Josh's knowledge of wine and wine paring is second to none. I would highly recommend Lone Pine for any occasion and especially for memorable moments.

Best meal we’ve had in Indy in awhile ! Right up there with the foodie spots like Tinker, Beholder, and Bluebeard but on the north side.

Great atmosphere, and the service is attentive. Unfortunately it took a couple hours for us to get our food. I did enjoy the mushroom pizza appetizer, but the meatball didn't make any sense. I ordered the ribeye medium expecting something along the lines of what you would get at a nice steakhouse, instead I got an overcooked pre-sliced piece of meat covered in sauce like I would have expected at a Sizzler.

One star because our Server Shawn was great, this review is not a reflection of him.
1. The wine list is incredibly over priced. Anthony’s has the same bottle of Ridge Montebello 2020 (a premium Cali cab blend) about $200 cheaper than the same bottle of wine on the list here. My issue is we ordered a bottle of Pinot Noir- it was ok…retails for about $40 but their bottle price was over $100. They def did not do basic market research on how to appropriately price their wines. An over 2x markup for a $40 bottle is ridiculous…and there are several different bottles that cost $40 (in Oregon ) that are good, and would have had no issue paying $100 at a restaurant to enjoy.
2. The steaks…this might be a personal preference but my $74 ribeye should be cooked to perfection and come out NOT chopped like a caveman. I’d like to be able to carve through it and enjoy it. Also the “red wine Demi glaze” tastes like it was made from a store bought brown gravy packet…had no flavor and certainly no red wine flavor.
3. Everything needed salt.
4. Their appetizer selection leaves much to be desired, so we order the mussels entree as an appetizer- it came out with a tablespoon of broth in the bottom of a very shallow bowl. It’s almost like they’ve never eaten mussels before…also the broth that was available lacked salt.
5. The tiramisu’s lady fingers were still crunchy?
Overall, our meal ended at about $400…would have much preferred Anthony’s or Peterson’s… hopefully they work out the kinks, but it was def not the culinary experience we were expecting.
On a whim decided to call in to see if they have a Saturday availability and they did have one later at night. Since its new, we had trouble locating where it was in the Carmichael center and since their staff were'nt all local, they had bit trouble guiding. But to make it easy they are in the old location of tucci’s or right next to Matt the millers.
Our server Rebecca was very friendly and introduced us to each of the appetizers with details and we opted for the chicken pate. She was also well aware of the ingredients that go into each cocktail as expected from the servers at such caliber restaurant. Our pate was placed on our table with a bit of an intro on the Amelia’s bread and pate and the other ingredients that went into it. Well made and so tasty!
For our dinner we had the Filet, loin steak and my son wanted the wagyu. Unfortunately they were out of the wagyu, so he ordered the burger. Our food came out in record time. My son’s burger looked nice with thick cut bacon. My Filet was just so juicy and tender and the caramelization was perfect. My husbands aged loin was a bit on the chewy side as they had mentioned. The caramelization was still great. Our side of pomme puree was stretchy and flavorful. The broccolini was perfectly cooked - tender, crispy and lemon flavor.
Was a memorable meal overall - it does come with a high price tag.

This place is amazing!
We came for dinner, and everything was delicious! We had the meatball and carrots for appetizers, and I think they were the best carrots I have ever had.
Cornish Hen, lamb ragu, all wonderful.
The atmosphere is cozy and clean. I had an excellent espresso martini. Great creative cocktails on their list. Wine list is impressive!
10/10 will absolutely be back!

Very well done, and a unique experience in Carmel. Well-crafted classic cocktails, impeccable wine list, and delicious food. The steak frites was delightful, with a mushroom green peppercorn sauce. The vegetables appetizers were surprisingly the stars of the night. The BBQ carrots and Pizza Mushrooms. What is a pizza mushroom? Who knows, but they were gone in seconds. Was told the lamb ragu stole the show. Definitely give a try. Excellent and knowledgeable service, as well.

We had a great dinner at Lone Pine their opening weekend! I had a glass of Zinfandel, French onion soup, and my husband had the yuzu 75, wedge salad, and we both had 6oz filets and split truffle fries. Everything was cooked to perfection. If we had to pick one thing that was our absolute favorite it was the French onion soup, it was possibly the best either of us has ever had!

Inventive and new! The Cornish game hen is incredible. Fork tender steaks. Lamb Ragu that will make you come back for more. A cozy atmosphere and an unmatched wine list.
