Great meal and service as always!! We invited our friends to join us and they really enjoyed and said they would definitely return!!!! Thank you for such good quality, you are the only Mexican restaurant we frequent!
Food here was quite good and I think the prices were also fair. We ordered Queso for our chips and we received our meal before the queso. Very fast service.

Had a reservation for 2 and was told it would be a few minutes. Fine. We wait. Couple walks in behind us and is immediately seated with no reservation. Management seemed confused as to why I thought this was problematic. Shame really, was going to be my second visit after enjoying the first time so much. Will not be back at this point.
I came here about 5 times now, and it’s always amazing.
If you like spicy food, definitely ask for the spicy salsa.
But be careful, some of them are very spicy.
Highly recommend the Langoustino Quesadilla, very delicious.
The Arroyo Molcajete is also great.
We tried it with steak and chicken, and it tasted just as amazing as it looked.
The mix of spices is rich and complex, and the hot molcajete keeps everything warm till the end.
Great service, nice atmosphere, and both indoor and outdoor seating are excellent.
Highly recommend.

The Greatest Mexican Food Experience of My Life — Los Arroyos Carmel
I’ve been on a 5-year mission to find the best cheese enchiladas on planet Earth, and tonight — my quest finally ended here at Los Arroyos in Carmel, Indiana.
From the moment I sat down, I could tell something special was about to happen. The chips and salsa are next level — light, perfectly crisp, kissed with just the right salt. And the salsa is divine. My personal favorite? The salsa — smooth, rich, tangy, and full of flavor without the heat. It’s honestly my favorite salsa on Earth.
Then came the enchiladas. I took one bite and realized — this is it. The flavor, texture, the perfect sauce-to-cheese ratio… everything in balance, everything beautiful. I’ve searched across states and countries, but Los Arroyos has crafted the definitive cheese enchilada.
The restaurant itself carries the warmth of tradition — founded on recipes from Mamá Toña in Michoacán, Mexico, brought to life by the Arroyo family with genuine love and artistry. Every dish tells a story, every detail shows care.
But what truly made the night unforgettable was the service. The owner, Andre Rodrigo, personally greeted and served me. He looks exactly like Enrique Iglesias — charming, kind, and completely dedicated to his guests. In years of dining, I’ve never received service so thoughtful, attentive, and sincere.
As Enrique once sang:
“I’m addicted” !!!!! Go ask for Andre or could it be Enrique … go find out
Yes — I’ll be back. Again and again.
Los Arroyos Carmel isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a love story told in salsa, tortillas, and soul.
🌮❤️ 7 billion stars if I could.

I got Maria's enchiladas and they just weren't as good as I was hoping for. Nothing wrong with them, just not what I was craving, I suppose.

We had a great dinner at Los Arroyos! The homemade guacamole was fresh and tasty, though a bit small in portion. I enjoyed the chimichanga with carnitas—crispy outside and flavorful inside—while my wife loved the Tacos Del Mar with halibut and shrimp, full of fresh flavors and great salsas. Our server was very polite and made the experience even better. We’ll definitely come back!

The patio was quiet, off the roads, and shaded. The service was excellent. We shared the ceviche tostada, which was fresh, bright and zesty. Absolutely perfect. I ordered the blue corn tacos, which had the most delightful combinations of flavors. The steak taco, with beans, was very hearty and filling. In contrast, the Halibut taco, was light and flavorful. Even though it was lightly fried, it maintained its crispy texture until the last bite.

Great restaurant and usually excellent service. Maybe it was an off day.. guac was old (not fresh) and sevice was almost non existant. The dishes were brought to the table....
While the food is always good, the service this time was seriously lacking. Why are they staying in the kitchen for so long?
