Absolutely phenomenal Italian entrees and desserts (both super fresh, flavorful, and authentic). Being raised Italian in Chicago, trust me when I say this is some of the best I’ve ever tasted.
Eggplant parm (when available) is my fav. Meatball (large) and red sauce are both exceptional (I have extremely high stds for both as my mom made the best) and rigatoni made my tastebuds absolutely sing!
The dessert case reminds me of the Italian neighborhood bakeries from childhood and everything I’ve had has been incredible (especially tiramisu and cannoli- and I can usually pass on tiramisu anywhere else). They could literally charge to simply enjoy the aromas!
They also have great gelato, bottles of Italian wine, and espresso / cappuccino!
Note: Very limited seating / more suitable for take out.

When I was a child, I grew up in Los Angeles in our family business. My grandfather and great uncle started our business in Mexico and brought it to the states in 1948. When they opened a second location on Sunset Ave, it was near an Italian deli and they became friends with the two brothers who moved from Italy and opened their deli (EastSide Deli) nearby. They made amazing food and authentic Italian dishes.
When I took a bite of the meal I ordered from Stacco House, it took me back to that time when I was a child. The food is amazing and the real deal! What a find! This small location that also sells gelato and amazing pastries (try the cookies, carrot cake and tiramisu) has food that is authentically Italian and authentically amazing! What a pleasant surprise for our trip to Carmel, IN. Thank you to the staff at Stacco House…and my compliments to the Chef(s)

Good food and deserts but it was a little cramped in and service was little slow because of all the people but it was ok service but still 5 star. Love the dessert and had more things and lots of good stuff. Had a very good time and there is other shops and gas around so yoy can also get gas and fun stuff. Also very good pricing and in a good and convenient location unlike other shops where you have to drive far to get to them but Stacco is closer to me than other shops. Good store and restaurant in a good location small shop but very good products. Very nice staff and might be the only location but i dont know.
They bring bright and joyful vibes when you enter and always keep the shop nice and clean and organized to welcome new people. Good and reliable restaurant with good and accurate prices that are not to high but not to cheap and great desserts and tastes so good.

Pasta is amazing! Love the expresso as well. Definitely an authentic Italian feel.
Christine made the most incredible Italian Millefoglie dessert for 180 guests at my daughter’s wedding. It was a beautiful attraction set on on its own table at the reception. Guests raved about its freshness and taste. I highly recommend Stacco House if you are searching for something unique as well as delicious. Christine created a masterpiece with her attention to detail, and her professionalism was extraordinary.
This place has the best cannolis and great customer service!
This is such a special place! We each had a delicious taste of home made ice cream. We each had a different flavor. They were all good. They also have some bakery items available too. We had a wonderful experience.

The tiramisu here is an absolute must-try — rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced in flavor. This cute little bakery has such a cozy vibe, and you can truly taste the difference in the quality and freshness of their organic ingredients. It’s made with a lot of local love, and that makes every bite even more special. 🍰✨

Wonderful authentic Italian bakery and cafe. The cappuccino was delicious and the bombolone was the best! Lucio is very kind and makes you feel at home. I highly recommend this place.

Delicious sweets. Chocolate chip cookies were thick and delicious. We also purchased pistachio tiramasu, also delicious. Cafe latte and 3 shot espresso were hot and good.

Phenomenal. The desserts are exceptional, the sandwiches are 👌. Try the caprese sandwich with chicken. So good! Everything is made in house. This cafe is one of the few absolutely delicious spots in Indiana and the only food establishment we have been to thus far that never disappoints and that we would be proud to bring our family and friends when they visit us in Indiana.
