Mitchell's Fish Market

This restaurant closed without notice last March. Too bad, it had great seafood but was always near empty when we went. Several restaurants in the vicinity are now closed and will be missed when the pandemic subsides. It was our favorite for seafood.

When visiting the area I can't wait to dine here. All of their seafood dishes are fresh and flavorful. The management and staff are friendly and courteous. The restaurant is classy and comfortable.

The restaurant is extraordinary and broad, the food was enchanting and the prices were very fair. quickly, productive service and very affable waiters. Will definitely recommend this place.

Great seafood and a good price. Oyster on the half shell are a crowd favorite. The crispy calamari is another great choice. The lettuce wraps were a surprise hit but something well worth ordering again. All around a great visit to a wonderful seafood place.

Food was delicious. Service was ok but I think he was a new server.

Their quality has really declined, mahi mahi was over cooked and the grits underneath were lumpy, the spicy shrimp started was pretty good, the seafood pasta was just ok. The pineapple martini was really good. Overall B-

Mitchell's has great food, today I just went there to purchase 2lb piece of tuna to take home and grill since the butcher was out. I always forget they are a fish market as well. Quality was fantastic!

Superb Early Night to Relax, and eat outside. Hardly any Traffic, or Noisy Distractions. Menu available by asking. Food was very Good, but took some time, for not being very busy, by observation. Nothing was said about the wait in delivery, from kitchen to table.

Always a ten here. Ginger salmon is fantastic. Served with veggies and a little rice.. came in to celebrate a mini victory..late night and was treated just as if we were regular dinnertime guests. We sat at the bar.. service was great. Thank you!

very good food and great service

Sat in the bar to have dinner. 10 minutes later I had to go find someone to east on me. The Lady who was manger was totally Rude and disrespectful..! Go to Kona Grille across the street for a Much better dinning experience.

My wife and I ate at the Carmel Indiana location Sat. afternoon and everything was fine until we got our meals. My fish & chips was good but she got Ahi Tuna Rice Bowl which was very hot & spicy and she just couldn't enjoy and eat it. I tasted it also & it was way too spicy! We told the waiter and he brought over the manager but we were disappointed we had to pay full price for a dish she couldn't finish. The waiter did admit he should have cautioned us about the spices. I would have liked the meal removed from our check or at least paying a reduced price, but got neither. Can't recommend this restaurant.

I usually don't leave reviews, but the more expensive the meal the more I expect. We had reservations for last Saturday. To start, our waiter was completely inattentive. He was there to merely take our order and deliver the check. He didn't check on us to inquire about food quality or refill our drinks until we were finished with our meal. If he had, we would have informed him that our food was cold and dry. It isn't often you get bad food and service at a quality restaurant, but this was our lucky day. We have eaten at Mitchell's several times over the past decade and they seem to be slipping.
